  1. The games that are designed for rift usually dont need much and will run more than 90 fps No Problem Other games, triple A titles at low or medium settings. Remember you need to run 90fps @ higher resolution than 1080p. Rift is still long way away tho.
  2. lol nice, let them score for me easiest way to win haah
  3. This is because they dont make them themselves.
  4. XFX should just die now. Shitty customer service, bad editions of coolers ( ghost sucked, but at least it looked good, some 200 series coolers sucked aswell, apart from the one with illuminated logo ) and now this weak, ugly cooler. If you cant learn on past mistakes, you better just close the company XFX, the black cooler design looked fine, in fact it was one of the best looking. Its still too small cooler, remember this is like double the SPs and whatnot + stacked mem. Rather wait for PCS+ from Powercolor to get much better heat dissipation, allthough it will be pretty huge hahah, this card will be definition of video card sag R1 video card support from Zalman anyone? I think AIO is the way to go. LOL imagine 395x2
  5. Sometimes i use Bing accidentaly, what a time waster. Unless you want to search for "youtube" or "google", its useless Not to mention lack of search options.
  6. This is how we end up here >_< At least people come here for build reviews so its all good. About content... that "is aftermaket cooling worth it" was really shit and would do a little with cpu cooler sponsors lol.
  7. Well problem is, he named it "intel blablabla build". So he used intel ssd. Well at least you get the reliability, speed, warranty and...looks But I agree, many times you see builds that are just stupid, that any builder on LTT would have done better. Not only sponsored ones, but people on youtube with thousands of followers, doing very bad builds and telling half-truths etc...
  8. You have to have money to even get stuff for free later. LoL
  9. have you reduced voltages ? what Mobo you have? seeing you didnt spend alot on it, i think you might have crappy mobo. You might not have fit mobo for overclocking on water, or even air. Brb 1 hour
  10. Take it this way, if we look at cinebench, 6300 at 4.5 is very tiny amount slower than 8320 at 3.5 Yes, its pretty crappy but hey, single thread perf matters so OC until temps allow it, no need to worry because your limiting factor is cpu cooler ^^ It will play games NP
  11. fruity vegetable or veggy fruit ... ...that is the question.
  12. so we could see maxwell last for a much longer time than kepler or current GCN, more performance in future than now that is even like 260x and 750ti, with 750ti you will be able to use better settings or have higher framerates at same ye? One more reason to recommend 970 over cheaper r9 290 i guess.
  13. If we compare maxwell to kepler, main difference for future is that maxwell have 32 and kepler has only 1 thread, so Asynchronous Shading will work on very well on maxwell. For example anti aliasing will not gobble up so much fps as before, now it will be reasonable to have anti aliasing on with any gpu. gtx 970 is where its at http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/341042-amd-asynchronous-shaders/
  14. watercool 1000$ build with a 270x, yes very funny 144hz for minecraft aswell?
  15. if psu doesnt blow up ^^ IDK m8. Maybe put away back fan and get better psu? What u recommend that can feed 280 ?

  17. you see, you are spending same amount of money on mobo like on CPU that is very unbalanced, you would be better off with cheaper mobo and better cpu also, you would be better off with cheaper case that has dust filter ( silverstone mATX one ) and better gpu
