Found this odd thing while using windows snip tool. was trying to take a snap shot of the bluray disc menu screen showing subtitle option having only Deaf & Mute option as the only main option , but there is this odd encryption feature that blocks out the screen from taking a screenshot.

 

Playing a regular video, you can see it captures the window & contents inside perfectly.

But trying to capture a bluray screenshot via windows snip tool this happens to the same player window.

    @WikiForce Anti-piracy is not stupid. Also, Netflix does something similar when they detect that you're using a screen-capture software.

    MPC HC doesn't support DISC menu, but it allows image caps from playback from its default file options.

     

    @WikiForce  : WIN+PRINTSCREEN kinda gives the same effect, but a bit sliced up, lol.
