Ever felt like the new pc case releases have a lack of HDD cages in it, some just sport max 2 or 3 tops of the available mechanical 3.5" slots at best.  comparatively the old cases had like 8 to 10, 6 at minimum in most cases.

    Yes. I would love to see more bays in cases. But as we are getting away from HDDs as SSDs, pcie drives, m.2, etc start to take over I'd say there will be pretty soon no cases available with them at all unless you are looking specifically for something made for mass storage. :(

    my plan is to eventually have no mass storage in my main system and have everything stored over the network on a local server over 10gb.

    what im noticing is there's no slots for DVD drivers either

    motherfluckers i want my dvd and bluray drives they r not going extinct yet components manufactures still include driver disk

    I purposely bought an older case with more HDD bays simply because I needed more of them.

    @VenomZ_ lol yeah but the drivers are usually out of date anyway by the time you get the part so you need to download online anyway xD
