  1. @kingstontech Too bad it couldn't protect all the people Kingston screwed over, baiting and switching with the V300.

  2. Am I missing how where Lenovo is justifying $1100+ for this? http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/yoga-laptop-series/yoga-3-pro-laptop/?cid=us%3Apaidsocial%3Akkl9xt A 13 inch screen, Intel graphics, and only a 256GB SSD? The ~4k resolution on that small of a screen is pointless, a 1080p resolution would look just as good, and be a lot less difficult to drive, and use less power giving you longer battery life.
  3. Yeah I had tried everything, thankfully, I was able to copy off the important files using a Linux based ROM OS from Hirams Boot CD. The drive showed extremely strange issues once I tried formatting it, repairing it, and installing Windows 7, which led me to believe that the drive either had a serious hardware issue, or the file system had been permanently corrupted.. Anyway, the customer and I decided to just save her pictures, etc., and she would just use a different computer she had. Though, I appreciate the help guys. By the way, I learned that Windows saving old files depends on what you choose during installation. -If you don't format, and choose Upgrade, your files are kept in place. -If you don't format and choose Custom, your files are moved to Windows.old folder. -If you do reformat, then obviously, your files are gone forever.
  4. Does Windows XP create one? Because I'd install whatever I could just to preserve the files.
  5. I have a Vista installation that is unfixable. I removed the hard drive and placed it in my main PC as a slave in an attempt to save the files on it, but, it won't show up, not even in Computer Management where I can import it. I can see it in the BIOS, but not once I boot.. Anyway, my question is, if I install windows 7 over the Vista install, will my files be saved in a windows.old folder? Thanks
  6. The SSD is in port 0, though, I had considered the possibility of the DVD drive being at fault because it would not recognize in AHCI.
  7. Yeah, I should've cleared the CMOS before I installed but didn't think to. We'll see what ASUS has to say, I'm awaiting response from them..
  8. Thanks. Yeah, it's a great chip if you just really need something on a budget. As for me right now, I don't think I'm on a tight enough budget, to not just go ahead and get a 4670k, and have those extra cores and power. Though, it will take a little longer to have enough to afford it, but it will be worth it.
  9. Any chance, you could link it for me? Not having much luck searching for it. Nevermind, you beat me to it. Exactly, my point is that it doesn't mean the G3258 can't handle the game, it's a artificial block.
  10. Yes, I've read both of those reviews, as I said in my original post, I know it's not going to be the same. But, just because it's higher doesn't mean it's an issue. Remember, we're comparing something that is $70 with something that is $240.
  11. Well, it's quite possible don't you think, that there was an issue with that particular unit? Considering the fact that no one else seems to have experienced the same problem? I even googled Pentium G3258 stuttering, but didn't find anything like that.
  12. And what do believe he stands to gain by doing such a thing?
  13. What made you assume that I only look at averages?0 I very much doubt it can't run DAI because I play that on my 3+ year old Phenom II 960. And how can you prove that it's horseshit? Do you believe that he in some way padded the results?
