    Yes, there is a big difference with each chipset, especially for Enthusiasts. A chipset that starts with Z means it can be overclocked. These are made for enthusiasts who want to tinker around with the CPU. This is the chipset I reccomend. Examples are Z87 and Z77. Chipsets that's start with H can't be overclocked. Examples are H87. This is meant more for Home PCs where you will never open the pc and the most stressful thing you will do is play Club Penguin. I would only get a H87 motherboard if I'm pairing it up with an i3, no more.

    how are you going  to fit 4 780ti , a Tesla K20, a sound card, raid card and a wireless PCI-E on that MB?
