Wow, its funny how much difference a background can make in making the build look nice. But still a beautiful build nevertheless.

Gainward should have 2 GTX970's that should be okay to use with the system.
Their default Blower style and the Phantom version:

Though I have to put a remark for the Phantom, it looks like they use the reference PCB but I'm not sure what TDP they have set for it.
    Other manufacturers are:
    Palit
    PNY

I've been getting more and more question about the final price for the kit, so I guess I'll go ahead and release an estimate.

I'm still waiting on some small bits and pieces for final pricing, but the biggest wait is still the case. Also some other parts I haven't been able to calculate yet, because I still have to design them, such as the GPU power board.
If I'd have to give an estimate I would say somewhere between €350 and €450 would be end user pricing.

It will be an expensive kit, I realize that, but I think the pricing is justified looking at what the market has to offer and what you actually get.
What do you actually get for that kind of money?

    Preliminary Box of Contents
1x 2mm anodized Aluminum Chassis(With Horizontal and Vertical brackets)
    1x Dual 92mm Radiator
    2x 92*92*15mm Fans

    1x Copper/Acetal GTX970 GPU Waterblock
    1x Acetal Reservoir
    1x 12VDC Pump
    1x 12VDC 180W AC Adapter for GPU
    1x 19VDC 120W AC Adapter for System(CPU, Motherboard etc.)
    1x AC Adapter mounting bracket
    1x GPU Power Board
Miscellaneous accessories (Fittings, Tubing, Screws, Allen keys, Manual and all other things needed to build a system)

What else do you need to buy to build a working system?

    Shopping list:

How does the paint affect the heat transfer of the heatsinks, or doesn't it really matter with such small heatsinks? And those lightbars look really good!

How much is your daughter aware that you are building such an amazing computer for her?
EDIT: I mean that as a child you sometimes not appreciate or get how much your parents are actually doing for you.

    [update 7.2.2015]

Everything is finally ready except the aluminum which is still waiting to be etched and brushed. I have already installed the components in to the case to see if it is working and IT IS! I think it is quite awesome to have all of those things powered with only one psu and have them crammed in such a small case

Sorry for the pictures not being that beautiful as the thing was running when I took the pics and it isn't placed where it'll permanently be when ready.

There is a switch for the second hdd so that it won't run all the time and is safe from some spikes in electric network

You're probably right but the longer im looking at the MSI  one the more i'm liking it, and maybe some adventure into spraypainting a heatsink is not that bad

Just to be clear, the case will still have 5 slots.

I'm just trying to gauge whether it's worth the time to develop an optional hard drive cage since using it would block off the bottom 3 slots.

Thanks! I took it to a small local LAN last week and it was by far the most powerful rig there but also a fraction the size of anyone else's
