  1. the problem I have with headphones is that the cable always breaks so If you can find a pair of wireless headphones that has a built in mic and can connect to my pc without bluetooth (or comes with usb bluetooth) within my budget that would be great any suggestions?
  2. Thanks for all the replies. I'll take the g930s into consideration
  3. it was the overclocking i didn't think it was the overclocking because just resetting to defaults without restarting didn't work ... I reset to defaults and restarted it and now it runs fine. Thank you to everyone who helped
  4. So I'm looking to buy a headset for around 50 to 100$. right now I'm looking at the razer blackshark bf4 edition and the corsair vengeance 2100. what I'm looking for in a headset durable.. this thing needs to last, made of metal is preferred. mic has to be ok, retractable or removable but non retractable or removable is ok too. closed (you can't hear anything outside the headset nobody can hear inside accept you obviously). surround sound would be nice but doesn't really matter because of razer surround. best sound quality possible for my price range (i'll be gaming and listening to music) wireless would be great but if not possible then a cable that is removable (I know that the blacksharks do not have a removable cable that's why I'm leaning towards the 2100. leather ear cups would be nice but doesn't really matter. needs to be from amazon (prime) but newegg is ok too. any replies/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Yes I have tried running it at default clock speeds and no there are no other programs running besides the monitoring programs. at one point I thought it might be a bitcoin miner virus but I couldn't find anything...
  6. I need help, this has been happening to me for several months now and I can't for the life of me figure out whats wrong. 90 - 100% GPU activity, 70 degrees Celsius, but I'm not doing anything. This happens at random, earlier today I was playing borderlands 2 on high 60 fps then I restart my computer and my frame-rates were cut in half, this happens in all my games such as Crysis 3, Minecraft, Unturned, Battlefield 4, Thief, and so on. When my PC is working I'll get decent fps and temps never go above 60 degrees Celsius under load. You would think that my CPU would have some activity while this is happening but it's only at 1 - 2% activity. I've looked into temperature throttling, driver problems, viruses/malware, and anything else that looked like it might be causing this problem but to avail (I'm not absolutely sure it's not any of these though). any help would be greatly appreciated... Specs - Windows 7 ultimate x64 MSI 970A-G46 mobo AMD 8350 8 core cpu 8 gb of ram sapphire AMD 7770 1gb ghz edition Cooler master EX 625 watt psu 1366 x 768 monitor
  7. Thanks for replying, I'm going to get windows 8.1 and see if that works. I'll see about the ram as well, it might be that since it's from HP it has compatibiity issues but the ram is like 5 years old so I wouldn't be surprised if they're dead.
  8. Ok so originally my pc had an Amd 7770, Amd phenom ii x6, and the rest of the parts were parts from HP that I don't know the names of. On that system I was running games like skyrim at 30 fps on medium so after a while I decided to upgrade... I now have an asus mobo, a sapphire amd 7770 1 gb, an amd 8350 8 core, the hp ram from before, a 2 tb drive from WD, a 625 watt psu, and a cooler master hypo evo to cool the cpu, after I upgraded I had to reinstall windows so I installed on top of the previous windows installation to keep my old files, installed all the drivers etc. Then I wen't to try out some games, the first was Thief , I started the game and ran the benchmark. I got 45 fps on ultra. Sadly this did not last as I ran it a second time and got 15 fps. this happens with all of my games, Sometimes this happens and sometimes they're just choppy to begin with, the games I usually play are , Skyrim, bf4, crysis 3, and bm arkham origins... I know these are all very demanding games but the same thing happens with octodad and goat simulator and it's not the graphic setting being to high because if I set it to low I get the same results. I've tried everything from checking cpu/gpu temps and changing fan speeds to reinstalling drivers, nothing works. Another thing to note is that on windows start up Aero effects are acting strangely, it's fine at first then randomly stops, I've tried disabling it but it does nothing and game menus are choppy too as in when it says "Nvidia" it's choppy. Please help, Should I reinstall windows without installing on top of the previous windows or change some setting in the bios or what?
