I originally found linus tech tips through you tube.. I was having some problems with a music recording workstation i was building and had kind of hit a brick wall with it.... i then came across your you tube channel and i was amazed at how much good info and even a little humour was in each video you guys uploaded.... i looked through most of the videos you uploaded since i first came across your channel about 8 months ago and i have finally got my rig working reasonably well..... i had to cheap out on the parts a little and it still has the worst graphics card ever invented but it's the most i could afford as you would not believe the price of computer hardware here in Ireland.... not to mention the music interface and all the musical equipment you need to record... guitars, keyboards drum machine, base and all the vst/vsti stuff and the DAW which isn't cheap...... but anyway thanks for helping me sort my rig out linus.... big thanks to luke and the rest of your team too
my rig specs are Sabertooth 990fx r2.0, 16gb FX 8350 ,corsair vengeance ram, Corsair force ls 120gb ssd and corsair force gt 60gb ssd, 850w psu, asus dvd rw , 1tb seagate baracuda and a lot of corsair sp fans and a corsair air 540 case.......... I'm almost embarrassed to mention the graphics card as it is possibly the single worst card on the planet but here it goes, a radeon hd 6450............ bad gpu. before anyone mentions it, yes i know a zeon based system would be better at the workstation thing but i'm a musician not a recording studio......... small pockets
