  1. So I have ran into a bit of a pickle while thinking about upgrading my current setup. I've planned to upgrade my computer for a while so my experience while playing games is smoother and better. My current setup is as follows: Intel I7 3770K @4.2GHz cooled by a Corsair H100 Dual MSI Geforce GTX 660 with 2GB GDDR5 in SLI which power two Cello C16D12DVB LED 15" Screens @ 1360x768 60Hz with one Dell ST2320L screen @ 1920x1080 60Hz all crammed into a NZXT Phantom 410 with a ASROCK Z77 Extreme 4-m Motherboard but my question only revolves around the GPU's and Screens. I plan to upgrade from my SLI setup to a single card setup to decrease temps and noise (I have a Micro ATX motherboard with no clearance between the 1st PCIe 3.0 slot and the 3rd PCIe 3.0 slot which means the first card has no clearance and gets really hot. When my secondary card with clearance gets to about 50 Celsius @ 80% load the primary card gets to around 80 degrees Celsius @ 80% load which I feel isn't good (single fan card).) I plan to upgrade to a Gainward GeForce GTX 780 Phantom (able to purchase a TI version rather than standard if it would help but I don't see the improvements from the standard to TI enough to justify £100) to my system and to go with the GPU I plan to buy 3x BenQ XL2420Z 24" True 144Hz monitors. The question that I have is in two parts really. Would it even be physically possible to hook 3 monitors up to a single GTX 780 and have them all run 144Hz (as in Display port + HDMI + DVI could they handle it?) and the second part is Could the single card itself handle the games?, I won't be playing the games as a surround display but will the GPU be able to handle possibly the two desktops at 1080p 144Hz while running a game at 1080p 144Hz with only 3GB's of frame buffer to share between them? (if I understand that the two desktops can be set to 60Hz or even just 120Hz with only the main display sitting at 144Hz.) (I do understand that having 3 monitors at 144Hz when all three of them are not always going to be used but in the future I could use Nvidia Surround for games in the future.) Any response or advice on this situation would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
