  1. Yeah, have to of them at the moment, and no they were not cheap, but too big for this build. will have a look at the Corsair, thanks!
  2. Hi, I'm trying to find a reasonably small 150mm'ish to attach an existing D5 pump I have but am mainly coming across black ones or a super expensive one like the Singularity Computers range. Just want a simple white res, no LEDs. please help!
  3. So, GF want a gaming laptop for her birthday and its a tricky one as I know full well it will be used for gaming at most once a week for playing Gwent in the Wither 3. What its really going to be used for in Netflix, and YouTube. So was think get her something with good build quality that will be able to play games when she gets round to it. Is the 2021 Blade a terrible idea? I know the older intel CPU is not that good, but reality is there will be compromises with anything in my budget. So, any thought or recommendations for a capable laptop for gaming for someone who really should be getting a M1 MacBook?
  4. Just stumbled across this one and was think I could just 3D print an enclosure for it. Can see it getting as hot as 80c and warping the plastic.
  5. Hi, I have some PCIe NVMe and SATA SSDs M.2 storage from old builds and was thinking of putting them in a USB 3 enclosure as backup storage or testing out Linux distros. I noticed PCIe NVMe to USB adaptors are about twice the price of a SATA one, is any speed advantage going to be negated by using them over USB 3?
  6. Keep getting the following error when trying to update. 2020-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems (KB4592438) Some update files are missing or have problems. 7. Hi, I have had Mayhem pastel white in my loop for a year and have decided to swap it out for just distilled water. The trouble is after draining, flushing till it runs clear and then using Mayhem blitz part 2 running through the system for 24 hours, my hard tubes and reservoir still have a dull yellow tint to them. Is there anything I can do to get them back to clear, or do I have to replace all the transparent parts?
  8. Hi, Does anyone have some tips for products to look into for changing plastic trim component parts, want to switch some white parts to red, but ideal be able to mask areas off and end up with a durable finish that wont chip away like a paint, thinking Vinyl Dye could be a good movie but thought I would check here before committing.
  9. Hi, I was wondering if I could get some advice on a budget case, the only real requirement is it needs to fit a 280mm Corsair Hydro Series H115i.
  10. Can't use just the bios, have an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO Intel Z370 and it has a couple the header locked to run at 100%, so been using SpeedFan to over ride this, but SpeedFan is really buggy and doesn't work when running some games.
  11. Hello, looking for an alternative to Speedfan to control my fans and pumps, any recommendations?
  12. I have my fans and pumps set up via SpeedFan, but have this strange issue that when I first boot my PC it only picks up two HDD's then when I reboot It works? This means I can't have Speedfan set up to autorun, and am stuck in this annoying loop off boot up, reboot, run Speedfan.......Just want to boot and not have to worry that all my fan/pump profiles are working Any ideas?
  13. When the ASUS ROG Intel Z370 MAXIMUS X HERO is off the LEDs on the MOBO cycle through different colours, is it possible to have these at a set single colour of just off without having to turn off the PSU?
  14. I have two EK-XTOP REVO D5 PWM pumps, I have just filled my two loops to leak test and it seems one of them runs at full speed and the other runs at a much lower speed (10% ish). Neither one has the PWM header plugged in, and both are powered via the same 4x Molex cable from the PSU. How likely is the one running full speed faulty, or am I missing something?
