I see alot of PT cruisers around craigslist for $500-1000 And I have always wanted to take one and turn it into a sleeper just for the lolz. brakes, suspension, transmission, definitely new engine. Just throw money at it and make just a ridiculous sleeper with. Has this been done before? I think it would be a fun project.

they said in the WAN show last week they really only have 1 or 2 of each product, the build logs usually don't stay built longer then a couple of weeks at MOST. they need to be able to grab a component, do the testing or project, then put it back when there done. If they built machines to do folding with it would hinder the process. Not to mention powerbill...

Ummm where do you live?  and do you keep a spare key under the mat? Just wondering is all...

Well I understand the concept of ohms. I just didn't want it to explode my receiver, or my speakers because it couldn't keep up.

When I build a PC, I find the ABSOLUTE amount I can spend on a build, and then I build what I can with that budget. I already accounted for an extra $20 for a better GPU. I cannot go any higher then the allowed budget no matter what. $20 is alot and takes me awhile to get especially during school because I do not have a job. So, there. Don't get mad because we have already scrounged up every penny we can.(literally. I look in the couch some times for that 1 penny to buy something)

second.... unmatched builds. I understand its difficult to go full matching with a budget, especially if you aren't even going see the components. But come on? can you try. having blues, reds, whites, greens, orange, yellow, all in the same build I go insane!

My neighbor just pulled in what looks like  chevy belair(didn't get a good look at it before he put in the garage) and it is covered in rust, tons of different colors of paint, and the bumpers are falling off. But it runs... he is currently revving the crap out of it and I am afraid the whole car is just going to fall apart.  
Can't wait to see what he does with it... I love his 55 chevy truck. Maybe I should make friends with him.....

Let me guess, fanboy. The fury card(not the fury X)? pretty good, beats the 980 by 5+fps in most games, it does have alittle coil whine I have to admit, but its $50 less then the 980 and it didn't exceed 80C when running at full speed.
The r9 390? it improved heat, it improved performance, and it is a decent card for the price.
Yes AMD definitely overhyped there new lineup, but there still good cards.
 
 
There CPUs? the 8350 is a great CPU for $150. It will run games just fine with up to a 980, and it has 8cores so although not as good as a intel CPU because of the shared cache. it does a fair job in work tasks like 3D rendering, video editing, and streaming.

No AMD is NOT dead. AMD is just fine for gaming up to a 980.

upgrade that RAM! trust me, you will be rage quittting with 4GB of ram and trying to do 3dwork.

there is more photography then photoshop. It would be much easier to ACTUALLY do it with photography then try photoshopping it.

You will be perfectly fine up to a GTX980 in that machine. I would upgrade to 1600mhz RAM though. its only an extra $5 and will improve performance a fair amount.

I have found that lead foil hats work better, although its harder to get your hands on then tinfoil. So just doubling up the tinfoil usually works fine.

Really? I have never seen a 770 for less then $200.
 
 
I don't think you will see a performance difference between a 560ti, and a 750ti. I would go for a r9 270, or if you can afford a r9 280. OR go 300 series if I there out yet.(I don't know if the 300 series are available yet, haven't looked)
