Budget (including currency): ~3.000€ Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and DJ Other details: Hey guys, a friend of mine wants to „configure“ his own notebook/laptop. I don’t know how far it is actually possible to „configure“ a laptop, but as I’ve built a few PCs already he asked me for help. His budget is around 3k (a bit more or less won’t hurt as far as I know) He wants to use the laptop for his DJ hobby and some gaming. Anyone know a good laptop that would fit that description? Or does anyone know if it’s possible to pre-configure a laptop just like a PC? for more Details, I think a Ryzen processor would be better for the multitasking he does with the machine and the laptop should have a pretty decent GPU, but I think that that’s a given with a 3k budget If anyone wants/needs more infos, I’ll gladly try to provide them

I'm currently trying to build a PC, with a Corsair H110 or 115 cooler inside (opinions of which of the coolers is better are also welcomed). Question is: Does it even fit in one of these cases? NZXT Phantom 820 Big Tower and NZXT Phantom Big Tower I couldn't find anything on google, so I thought I'd just ask here. Does anyone know this?

Hey guys, a friend of mine wants a similar gaming rig as me, but doesn't want to stream or anything. I made him a little build beforehand but I'm not quite sure if it's good enough.... Budget is 2000€, a good case and a 27" Monitor with 144hz and 1440p resolution should be in there too, I didn't find any yet. Also: What is better for only gaming? i7 (or even i9) or the Ryzen CPUs? Any tips on improving?

Thank you both very much, I'll happily take your advices This forum is great

PC Partpicker List The link above is my current setup. For the case I don't know yet. Is a big tower needed? You think it's ok? All in all it would cost me around 2.5k (I know I said my Budget is 2k, but there is a monitor in it too, so the 500€ extra are ok ^^ EDIT: Does the RAM even fit? Because in the description it says that supported modules are DDR4-2133, DDR4-2400, DDR4-2666. The RAM I used is DDR4-3000 though

What I meant with that is if the i7 7700 would run games (without streaming) much batter than the ryzen? Idk what the 10% loss on frames is. Is it 10% from 10000000 fps or is it 10 percent from 50? I want first and foremost an awesome gaming experience
-
Well for me 50~60 fps is perfect, I don't want much less and definitely don't NEED more than 60. If I'm fine with the Ryzen than I suppose I'll take it. I just saw that the i7 7700 is currently even cheaper than the Ryzen (307€ at mindfactory) I really don't know if a Ryzen would be good for me, because I will just stream casually

Sounds pretty nice, and the Price is definitely a pro. I read some Reviews (nothing to do at work lol) and they it's not as good for gaming. Gaming will definitely be my priority though. Should I be worried about this or are they overreacting? Reviews tend to dramatize stuff a bit

I like it big But your Setup is pretty good (and cost efficient) Can you tell me why the AMD processor? I'm a bit hesistant, bc I often hear that they get hot pretty fast

I now have 3 Monitors in my view: AOC AGON AG271QX (494,94€), Dell S2716DG (557,84€) and BenQ ZOWIE XL2730 (524,94€) Recommendations for the best one?

Idk yet, preferably one with 144hz and a resolution of 1440p I might be getting things mixed up though I'm not sure rn

Is watercooling necessary? I like the idea of it, but don't want to get too much on it. If it's significantly better I'd would buy it though.
