    Reinstalled windows, only program that i think installed afterwards that borked everytthing was visuial studios. idk whyy EDIT : Err rather, I preformed the "Refresh PC" thingy in windows 8. I dont know why visual studios would bork my games though.

    I have no idea what is going on, games I was able to play just fine literally 12 hours ago suddenly run like crap. I dont know if it's a new driver thing, or if I have a bad card, its worked fine since november. The only games I have tested this with are AC Unity - Used to run perfectly fine (as fine as it could) Now runs like crap Wolfenstien the new order - Super smooth on ultra and now sub 30 fps on low MGS Ground Zeros - This game ran great before driver update, ran great after it, now runs like a plebeian console game. Im running a stock amp extreme 970 so 1203 mhz core 1355 MHz boosty ANy help explaining this would be apriciated, this isnt the first system ive built but ive never had a computer this high end.

    I search windows update and apply the microsoft wireless reciever driver and it works for 30 seconds

    Other people bought one and got thiers to work, but at the end of the day youre right lol. In fact a majority of people got it tow work.

    So lemme clear up somethings right off the bat. 1) Its one of the Chinese knockoffs, I don't feel like buying a whole new controller when i have four and all I need is the receiver. 2) I've already doe the weird forced driver update to the real Microsoft gaming driver. The issue is that usually the controller works for about 30 seconds to a minute, but as its working the computer is installing a "USB Input Device" driver and as soon as it's don't the controller stops connecting to the device, which seems to get full power and "work". I'm not sure if the USB input device driver is related to the device malfunctioning but I would bet it is. Any Ideas?
