  1. FAT32 is the default setting, it works fine as a flash drive for any computer now but resetting it didn't make it interface with our phones. I will try sending it to FAT32 without using the default setting.
  2. I got a 64 gigabyte Voyager go for my mom cuz she wanted to transfer stuff between her phone and different computers without having to plug your phone in she said it was a little bit slow so I reformatted it to NTFS but now her phone won't recognize it. I reset it back to the factory default and neither her phone or mine will recognize it still. If any of you guys have solved this problem before I be grateful for help so now you don't have to return the drive for replacement, if not no big deal it's 20 bucks in Amazon has excellent return policies.
  3. Don't all GPU's support 240Hz or higher? Or is this meaning Gsync will now be up to 240Hz.
  4. Shocking Breakthrough? I think you meant Shocking Breaking News, or Shocking, or Breaking News... a breakthrough is either an improvement or discovery that leads to future improvements.
  5. "Made a 'music' video with Edward Snowden" and "Made a 'music' video featuring footage of Edward Snowden" are two very different things. Either way Snowden is still an international hero.
  6. I can't really shame people who don't use adblock on torrent or adult sites... When you do the amount of single horny women in your area vanishes.
  7. This is going to be good to get at least some people to care agian. If only the documentary Citizen Four and his interviews with John Oliver had Hollywood traction.
  8. I love how these articles never mention that the people who torrent GoT are the people who buy the most merchandise and the most blueray seasons. "Back in the day" pay for cable, no ads, years later has ads, pay for premium channels like HBO for no ads, now they have ads. Now when a show comes out pirate it and watch with no ads, if you like it buy some merch and/or the episode set when it comes out, and/or the seasons collection when it comes out.
  9. Those are the worst controls for a mobile FPS I've ever seen.
  10. Who the fuck uses Quicktime?! Even fully updated on a Mac it's a pile of shit. VLC is the only way to go.
  11. Did nobody expect this is the whole damn reason Facebook bought Oculus?!
  12. No. Sports doesn't mean 'Athletes' and Athletic sports doesn't mean nonathletic sports should be considered athletic. Once again, this isn't about what is or isn't a sport. It's about the static fact that modern day video games and esports are not athletic.
  13. Esports is not athletic. It is a sport. Esports competitors are not athletes for Esports even if they are in their non-esports time. Athlete is not a word subject to interpretation like Sport is. Being an Athlete means doing activity that requires and maintains physical fitness. An Esports competitor who is also a football or soccer/football athlete is still not an athlete at esports because no amount of reaction time and mouse precision will make playing CS:GO physically taxing enough to maintain physical fitness. In the future there may be games that do require that type of physical demand (probably something like Wii Fit in VR) but there are not now so Esports is not Athletic until then.
  14. I already replied on shooting, and I'm talking about what is athletic, not what defines a 'sport'. Sailing (Olympic sailing) how it feels to control Olympic spec sail boat is basically like doing bench press, crunches and leg lifts all at the same time while racing for multiple hours. None of those look hard as a spectator. Looks like they are sitting holding a sail but it takes alot on the arms, stomach and legs to keep the sail in the right spot and the boat at the right angle when the wind is strong enough to flip your boat.
  15. I said most forms of Olympic shooting. Archery is demanding. The Biathlon is pretty much physical insanity. Trap (like skeet shooting) is definitely borderline. Basic stand and aim at the target... that's where I agree with you.
  16. You are correct. And sports competitors are not by definition athletes for playing sports. As I previously stated; Definition of Athlete right from Google: a person who is proficient in sports and other forms of physical exercise. The definition obviously considers sports to be physically taxing because it means that the activity must be physical exercise to be athletic. The only valid argument is that the definition of sport should be updated to 'a competitive activity or event' and that 'sports and other' should be removed from the definition of Athlete: 'a person who is proficient in forms of physical exercise.'
  17. If you know anything about Olympic sailing you should know it is extremely physically taxing and so is Olympic shooting (in most of it's forms). I don't know what degree of fitness is required for Curling, but it is up to the Olympic committee with their own events rules for regulating what events are to be in the Olympics and I'm sure they know quite a bit more about fitness than you and I.
  18. Reflex time is not fitness, and that is not the definition of an athlete. Definition of Athlete right from Google: a person who is proficient in sports and other forms of physical exercise. I'd say it's safe to assume that definition hasn't been updated for a world that considers sports to be competitive events whether physically taxing or not. It might even be from before Chess became known as a sport. Either way it assumes 'sport' as something physically taxing.
  19. Physical fitness, not brute strength (that picture was gymnastics). And curling, fencing, table tennis, diving, sailing, shooting all require physical fitness. As I said earlier, I don't care what is and isn't a 'sport' because sports are just competitive activities and Esports qualifies, what matters is that the Olympics is for athletes. The Olympics always has been, and always will be, strictly athletic competitions. If Esports gets a similarly large and regulated event then good, but until video games are athletic then they are not eligible for the Olympics. In the future I can see previously removed events like fights to the death return to the Olympics through video games with VR. Tron disc duels or combat like the movie Gamer would work well but we are a long way away from any form of video games eligible for the Olympics.
