Yes an i3 would be plenty. My server runs a 3570k stock and never uses more than 4% cpu with 15 -20 people. But like James said, ram is a huge factor. You want about 200-300Mb per person for a good experience.

Dual DVI port. Common in Dell tower sold to enterprises. Basically you buy an adapter that is just looks like a splitter but is actually two DVI ports. Since 99% of our towers at work have it it makes it convenient for us when swapping towers.

I am still wonder why phone makers think people still want thinner phones. They dont need to be any thinner then they were 2 years ago. First it was sacrificing battery not they are removing ports.

Wireless headphones are nice but very niche for me. I just hate having another fucking device to charge up.

Those loading speeds are due to SD speeds in in the 6S. The 6P is faster in 90% of other aspects other than loading large games. It actually blows the 6S away with daily use and other similar benchmarks are done without large games and the 6S loses by a good margin. Now if he would of went and reopened those apps and ran the test again the 6S would of been second to last next to the windows phone due to closing apps to save memory which the 6P doesnt have to do.

The fact that android is as optimized as it is to be compatible with literally thousands of configurations is a huge leap over apple and microsoft where IOS is built around the hardware. But no continue to base android on low end phone sold at gas stations.

This is probably a more accurate speed test as its applications that are going to be opened way more often then loading 3 games.

But overall phones dont need 6GB ram. If windows can manage full desktop apps there is no reason mobile OS's need that much.

To be more specific, unix file system structure is much better. But Finder is absolutely horrid.

But to the OP, either try hackintosh or if its not fully compatible with your hardware try a debian based distro(linux).

Thanks for the quick replies guys! The answers were pretty much what I thought it was going to be. Thunderbolt being so rare its really the first thing I had to ask about.

If this wasn't a work machine then I would grab one. The original idea was for me to build a pc to meet their needs but they said never mind, we will just buy a mac. And now we are here

I saw that earlier but you at least need a TB header

I brought it up until the network team said no. With the amount of traffic we have, videos and photos would kill our switch.

Its under HFS. I want to format it to NTFS but with no way hook it to the pc I won't bother .

As if right now they have a $3000 brick sitting I there. I warned them.

I've tried installing ubuntu on a 14 year old pc and it worked great(I was surprised it could boot of usb) but had A LOT of graphic issues. Then put Linux mint on it and it ran fine, but ended up using xubuntu. It's currently running a ps1 and snes emulator on it with a ps3 controller. I would recommend damn small Linux but I can never get it to work right so try xubuntu.
