  1. Okay, only turned on when closing once, so might have just been the normal turn self on.
  2. I have it set to do nothing with a quick press, crappy location above the num pad hit it by mistake a few times... New weird thing to note! Close the lid, after turning off, and it turns on... Almost seems like something is shorted in there, but its live on a desk so hard to believe damaged.
  3. Fully off, even after force shut off holding power button it will do it
  4. Hey ya'll, I think I have a ghost in my older ROG laptop. I turn it off, its unplugged, then it just turns back on, then off, then on, some times does a windows up, I turn it off, it turns back on, I've had it turn on, but must not be fully on so fans don't kick in so it just over heats. Anyone with thoughts? I am blaming windows 10.
  5. Did try that, closer to 40 at times but still mostly around 30
  6. I'm getting low FPS in doom on any setting getting about the same around 30 fps, on low to ultra. I have a 960m 4gb, which does better then you'd think (ex 60fps mid BF1) I see people talking about issues yet not finding much for answers... Anyone same type of issue on Doom?
  7. Its back alive! Took booting without CMOS battery and jumpers on reset. Then putting jumpers back it POST'ed no issues. Thank you all!
  8. I did check and make sure it was the right jumpers, I feel like they didn't really do anything, MB LED turns off right after turning off PSU, so I feel it did not full reset the BIOS and thus not reset my stupidity. I did try only 1 stick of ram in different slots and every stick I have. Swapped my 960 for my old 650 ti and no difference from that. I don't have an extra am3+ board.. and don't really want to buy one if system dead. So it seems I need to try and reset the BIOS again, without CMOS battery.
  9. Everything was stock other then the multiplier with no Auto Voltage (its a relatively basic board) I got no beeps or anything, just no POST. I changed the jumpers around like 5 times, only pulled the CMOS battery once with the jumpers in reset, I did not try and POST it with the battery out.
  10. THAT is what I figured would happen. But is the Motherboard bricked into trying to overclock it with no BIOS resets working?
  11. I'm surprised it would kill it without any voltage change, just multiplier?
