Well I just recorded it via the headphone out to line in to garageband, sounds nice But I'll try the tape out with the next one Thanks;)

Hi, I want to digitize my old vinyl records. But how should I do that? My old amplifier (Yamaha A960) has an 6.3 mm headphone jack and a feature to record your audio to an external cassette player. If I should use the headphone jack, would it be possible to hook it directly in my microphone-in jack on my PC an record it via Audacity/GarageBand. Or do I need there some external converter to USB? And the other feature, the one with the cassette recording, is that even relevant or should I just use the first option? Thanks for any answer or recommendation. PrismaticM:)

there's just an on/off button, it goes in sleep mode when there isn't no signal. It's that screen http://goo.gl/SLi9PC I can't believe that they sell a 8yo screen:)

maybe, cos every time I turn off the screen, the windows on that screen get teleported to my main screen and everything is default

there's just 1 problem with that, the setting that I set up, resolution etc. just go to default:)

Hi guys, I recently connected an old monitor to my mid-2010 iMac and I was wondering if there's any program that allows one of my screens to dim/screen-save/sleep if I don't use it, for example watching a movie and the 2nd screen goes to dim/screen save/sleep. Also I'm wondering if there isn't a program which allows you to have a menustrip and dock on both screen not just on the main screen. Thanks for any answers PrismaticM:)

I just looked into the cables and noticed that the DVI cable which is coming from my old pc to the monitor is missing some pins (DVI-D Singlelink), where the monitor has an full DVI Duallink input. I want to ask if this is crucial to the image quality of the PS3/iMac and/or the HDCP thingy?? And do I need a special adapter or a special cable for that?

Ah thanks, i read smth. about that HDCP, glad you confirmed it;) And I saw also several times on the CD boxes of the game that they run in 720p, but isn't the ps3 upscaling it to 1080p? or does the quality decrease during the game when I set the output to 720p?

yeah I thought that but I'll try, thanks guys:) And for the iMac, I won't need the 30$ Apple adapter another will do it, right?

but is the PS3 able to push such a weird resolution thru that adapter? or do I have to scale down to 720p.?

the problem is that my motorbike is broken and the next shop where I can buy those adapters is 25 km away:/ and that's why I want to be sure that it's working

Hi guys, I recently found an old HP2105 computer display (http://goo.gl/SLi9PC) in my basement and I want to use it as my 2nd screen. So I wanted to ask if there's any problem to hook a 8 year old, 21", 1680x1050 Monitor to a mid 2010 21,5" iMac via minidisplayport to DVI connector? Are there any problems like getting the full res. (1680x1050) thru that adapter? And I want to ask if it could be possible to hook my PS3 slim on it via a HDMI to DVI connector on it, cos I heard there some kinda problem, like the same one that you can't record over HDMI with an HDPVR?
