Basically im looking for a new laptop to use when i start college in a little over a month. I plan on buying a laptop in the $500-$800 range I will use this computer strictly academic purposes (wont game on it) and the daily surfing the net (netflix, youtube, reddit, ect...) Do you guys have any recommendations for a laptop that is a good deal and can withstand the daily use of a college freshman Bonus: would prefer if it would be on the lighter side as i will carry with me 99% of the time

i currently have a razer naga and im looking for a new mouse. mainly because i don't see myself ever using 6 out of the 12 buttons on the side because of there positions i really like having the extra buttons on the size. When you place the ram dims into your mother board they will default to either 1600 or 1333 you will have to go into bios and set the speed and timing yourself or dial in the XMP profile set up by the manufacture. It's not overclocking it just setting the speed your memory is rated at. There's no point of placing ram in and not taking the time to set the speeds and timings

I don't think there's any consumer GPUs that will bottleneck a overclock 3770k (maybe the ares 2 possibly but i doubt it ) untill more multithreaded games come out
