I don't think anyone should come on a tech forum and make a thread about hating any particular item, especially something as subjective and personal as a case decision. Shouldn't this be a place to talk about things we like and would recommend? It's like whoever started this topic wanted to argue with someone. Seems pointless.

Buying her a PC to get her attention? Ohh dude... Why not screw her and give her that 120$. IF and only IF she was your girlfriend you date at least a year! you could put some much cash into. This is just waste of money. I dunno how you do it in Kentucky, but here we ask girl out and if she says "no" we to move another one and not buy her a $$$PC only because you like her...

tons and tons of experience. You know, one thing I have learned from nice guys is that to be that nice guy you cant be an honest guy. Being the nice guy always ends up with you having to keep your mouth shut on many occasions and putting your feelings second. If being honest means you lose a "friend" then good for you! your feelings always matter no matter what chicks like to believe.

We're really good at finding sponsors to help us pay for things, and as an entitled "Internet-generation" kiddie I love free to view content and I wish all content could be free to view, so that's what I want to deliver.
 
With that said, we haven't been ashamed of asking for funding when we need it. That First Blood badge in your name directly helped us pay to continue developing, and we've got another campaign upcoming that will help us acquire the equipment and sets we need to start running a daily show as well as redesign the home page of the forum.
 
We may add regular contributions through the forum at some point like a monthly membership (of course you can still access the content for free if you wish) but that's still in the early stages right now.

I have a friends that runs a gtx260 and a 7900gt and can get >2 monitors working using the mismatched gpu's. He claims they work just fine for displaying the basics but just don't SLI. Not sure how it would work for AMD and way newer cards. The question I would have, is how does it know which is the main GPU to use with games and what not.

As far as i know they make them themselfs and not in Foxconn. Thats why prices are over the top too...

thanks! and yeah, that mouse is awesome! It is the only choice for me ^^ maybe some of the successors, but why buy a new one when mine works really really good?

Craigslist can be a good source of used parts if you are in a populated area. I got in the habit of hunting for people selling things in and around Chicago for way less than they were worth. Takes time to find good used things but it was worth it for me. 40 In Samsung TV, 24 In Samsung monitor, 560ti, i7 970 rig, gtx 285's. Old LGA775 parts. Hope someone else can recommend an actual good site with used parts for cheap for us .

I put my old SSD in my laptop and it's nice and snappy now, even though it's only got a Core i3.  Definitely worth it.

Here is what I think.
 
Install ssd on the system/laptop that you use the most. 
You are going to install OCZ ssd onto your desktop. I assume it is your main desktop and you will use it the most.
How much do you use your second system? Maybe you wife.syster/family uses it often then I would install ssd there.
 
If your second desktop isn't used much then I would recommend to use 80gb ssd with laptop.
I too have older 80GB intel ssd in my 300$ laptop. It makes a lot of difference and makes 300$ laptop feel like its $1000 desktop system.
 
So to sum it up. Use your second ssd with the system/laptop that you use the most.

Unfortunately for GPU it is all or nothing... a LOT of people are hopign in the next version they will bring this functionality...
