Common sense says its about finances if they were to hold it anywhere else other than where the company is from think of the cost like this

-          Bring employees flights

-          Put them up in hotels

-          Feed them

-          Bring all they use and stream
In conclusion It makes no sense to bring it anywhere other than where the company is from and the team if they do infect do it again next year.

How can LMG monetize the company tour... away from the company???

@Gecko, sorry for the lock, but seeing you aren't getting actual answers and instead others are ganging up and not helping, I don't see this going to be any more helpful. The fact is that we don't know. You should email support and ask for them. They might be able to do 1 week extra as "thank you" for being supporter through this period. But as LMG has chosen to be silent about developments happening internally, this isn't something forums can answer. Only support will know, or tell you they will get back on it when they have answers.

So while at LTX they had some really cool things like the Custom screw driver and I was able to hold the up and coming clear screw driver.
That being said it was long but I think worth it. I also go a stubby or 2 ish lol.
I got 2 backpacks one for work and one for travel and a new water bottle.
I was a bit bummed as they did not have pins or lanyards for some reason as well and the cargo shorts and waffle hoodie.
 
One note about the screw driver I was able to bring on board the screwdrivers in my  hand luggage with no problems. I had 6 screwdrivers and 4 stubby's no problem with my hand luggage without a problem.

I also one a AverMeida Livee Streaer Nexus that was cool and a RGB Mouse mat that I asked the LMG give the gaming mat away to someone at the end of LTX.

So who ever ended up with the mouse mat enjoy!

If the hotel is without power and it's the responsibility of BC Hydro, I assure you that the hotel staff have reported it to BC Hydro.
 
If the hotel itself is having power issues unrelated to the utility, I assure you that hotel staff have contacted the necessary contractors.
 
What you should be doing however is talking to customer service about possible compensation.

I am also flying solo, Coming from England / Toronto I will be flying in Friday and my birthday is Monday 24 so it will be my birthday weekend 🙂

Modem > Router > Switch > Everything else. 
 
Modem > Switch > Router won't work for anything connected to the switch unless your ISP provides you multiple public IP addresses, which I doubt they do.

The router and NAS both support gigabit speeds, so the only bottleneck here would be your computer. Check that for us. For a reference, 10/100 will get a maximum of 12.5 MB per second, whereas 10/100/1000 (gigabit) can (theoretically) get 125 MB per second. The 11 MB/s you're getting is about what 10/100 will get you when you take any overhead into account. 

Well thanks very very much guys I am getting alot more speed after getting a gigabit card put in and boom problem solved no longer waiting longer than a day for 8 TB of data to trasfer only 8 hours.
