  1. I turned the gain down to 1 and was talking about 6 inches away from it and I still wasn't getting that professional sound I was going for.
  2. I just recently got the Audio Technica ATR-2500 microphone. I got it because I heard tests and it sounded like something you would here on a podcast or radio show. When I tested it out, it sounded nothing like that. It sounded like an internal webcam mic with extra background noise. The quality was nothing like I expected. Is there anything that I can do to get the mic to sound like a professional podcaster with studio quality sound? I've tried everything I can think of. Thanks.
  3. I just recently started listening to the ready player one audiobook and I would like to split the audio file into chapters. Does anyone know when each chapter in the audiobook starts and ends. btw I downloaded the Wil Wheaton narrated one. thanks.
  4. Hello, I have wanted to start a podcast for a while now and I'm not sure how to get started. My current Microphone is the AudioTechnica AT2020 XLR with a blue icicle adapter. I want to have multiple people on the podcast(2-4 people) and I want a setup that can accommodate for multiple people. I'm not sure if the AT2020 is the best microphone for podcasts. Another problem I found is when using the blue icicle there is a half second delay from when I speak to when I hear my voice through the headphones. I want to monitor the sound while recording but the delay is messing me up. I would like a list of equipment I need and if I should get(mics, mixer, stands, headphones, etc)( this is for 4 people). I would also like some tips on how to properly record the podcast. thanks for the help.
  5. Hello, I am planning on getting two Red Epic Dragon cameras to shoot ultra high resolution 6K RAW 3D video. I am going to need a workstation to handel the 6K 60fps HFR 3D video. i am working with a huge file size of 256MB/S in 3D @ 60fps. my budget is 5 grand and that includes the monitor as well. if anyone has any suggestions for a rig for me just let me know.
  6. I am planning on making a short film and I would like to include a surround sound mix to the film. My current setup is a $50 logitech 2ch stereo headset. I am not sure whether to upgrade to surround sound headphones or get a surround sound speaker setup. I will be using this for surround sound mixing and not gaming. If you could also provide links to recommended headsets and speakers that would be great.
