  1. This is probably because you enabled "Show hidden folders" and unchecked "Hide protected OS files". These folders have always been there but you have just not seen them.
  2. Personally, I would do a complete reinstall and copy your data to a external/backup drive in the time beeing. You could however also make a complete backup und recover from that to the new array. No matter how you do it though you need to backup your data on to a different disk/place because creating the array will format the SSD and erase all data. I would also suggest making a backup a bit more often than once a week because loosing a whole weeks work can be quite a lot, unless you don't have any worthy/important stuff on there.

  4. I would upgrade mine and then use my parts to build a new one for my sister!
  5. I agree with @SuperPug and Mo5, get 2x8gb for upgradeability in the future.
  6. Sorry didn't know which one The only thing I can think of is to same a couple of bucks and get the Corsair CX 600 (builder series) powersupply instead of the Corsair CX 600M. It will save you about 25$ and the only difference I can see is that it is not semi-modular.
  7. what are the other parts you are looking at right now?
  8. You're welcome, I hope you find a something you'll be happy with.
  9. Totally agree here. It really depends on how you value it. For a triple monitor setup I would however go with the 780 because of the more ram and better performance, this however also depends on the monitor resolution.
  10. Maybe have a look at the A-Data SSDs: AData Premier Pro 64 gb (link) or the Kingston SSDNow 60gb (link) or there is a really good deal for the Samsung 840 Evo 120gb right now on Amazon (link). Be aware I haven't used them myself (except 840 evo), but I have heard good things about them. I use a Samsung 840 Evo 250gb myself and I haven't had any problems and good performance.
  11. I think it is ok for someone on a budget and the quality is quite good. Otherwise also look at the corsair one, example Corsair Force 60gb (link). On the otherhand I think you should at least go for a 60gb if not even 128gb drive because even the OS barely fits onto a 30gb drive and if you have to install some larger updates in the future and the sdd is too small, that would kinda suck! (just my opinion) Refrence: -Win 7/8 32bit ~16gb (source) -Win 7/8 64bit ~20gb (source)
  12. I haven't heard of a lot of problems, although I haven't used it myself. You can sometimes have some difficulties setting it up, like @CowsGoRoar said, but other than that there shouldn't really be any problems!
  13. I agree if you have the money I would go for that, as it will increase performance quite a bit. Otherwise looks like a pretty good built, really good bang for the buck actually.
  14. What brand of GPU are you using, maybe you could use Nvidia Shadow Play to record the videos. If you want something that works both on PC and the consoles (which you did mention), maybe have a look at the AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable. For editing it really depends what you already have or what you are willing to spend. This varies all the way from Windows Movie Maker to Adobe Premier Pro. And please tell us your budget so we have an idea what you are willing to spend.
  15. I think they might quite a bit more expensive in Denmark. They are really expensive here in Switzerland. I got the Asus PB278Q for around 500 Swiss Francs / ~3100 DKK, or how expensive is that in Denmark? (It might also be a bit cheaper now after the release of the ROG PG278Q, which is very similiar expect for the 144Hz!) <- Hopefully!
  16. I agree with @juretrn, take it off especially if you had bad temps and artifacts.
  17. Be sure to check both your CPU and GPU temps, but the tasks you are doing don't seem to be really intensive though. I agree, it might be either the hardware or the driver (maybe you have a beta driver installed?). I would also try to reproduce the results using other games.
  18. First of all congratulations to Linus and the entire LinusMediaGroup team on the 1'000'000 subscribers on the main channel. I've have been watching your videos for many years now and you have continued to impress me with the advances you have made in your videos. Starting up with only a bunch of people out your own home (friday livestreams in the garage, good old times ). I have learned so much about technology, most of what I know to be honest, from your videos and I hope this will continue in the future. I especially love the Techquickie channel because it explains small things in a way that even none techsavy people can understand and I can share with my friends and family. So I wish you all the best for the future, I hope you keep being able to grow at such a fantastic rate! I also want to thank you for all the giveaways. I know they can been a huge amount of work for you to organize and it hows how dedicated you are to this amazing community.

  20. I love the camera and the waterproofness as well. Such a cool skin!
  21. That is my favorite quote of the entire video!! "Consoles that can actually run 1080p in 4K." This is comedy gold!
  22. I love the thinness of the notebook, as well as the build quality with all that aluminum!!
  23. The idea of having the buttons on the back, I would love to try that out!!
