  1. I could really benefit from the waterproofing the Z2 uses, walking around in the rain so much. Also props to dbrand for sponsoring.
  2. I might do that... Haswell refresh would work with any LGA 1150 slot motherboard, right?
  3. I only recently got into producing EDM, so low latency isn't absolutely necessary, but it'd be nice for recording live midi. What is more important is accurate sound reproduction. I still don't know thaaaat much about how the audio works just yet. For instance, I'm not sure what's the most important component(s) for low latency, accurate sound (DACs, drivers, monitors, etc). I should note that I am saving money to get two PreSonus Eris E5 studio monitors. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!
  4. I'm preparing to do my first build and I want it to take up little desk space. I want a mini ITX build centered around the RVZ-01 because of the small size and looks. I'm planning to hook it up to two 1080p monitors to do a moderate amount of gaming as well as music production. Here is my parts list: Case: SilverStone Raven RVZ-01 Motherboard: ASUS Z87I-Delux LGA 1150 mITX Motherboard CPU: i5-4670K CPU Cooler: SilverStone NT-06 RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LP (2 x 8GB) GPU: -some sort of GTX 770- Storage: WD Black 2TB HDD + Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD OS: Windows 8.1 I have no parts yet so any component can be changed. I have two concerns about this build. One is heat. Obviously, with such a small form factor, ventilation is always an issue, but would there be any room for overclocking? Second concern is related to the music production. I'm currently planning to use an external DAC, but I'm not sure how much latency that would cause. I may get a dedicated soundcard, but that would mean using a bigger motherboard (and obviously a different case). Let me know what you guys think and please tell me if there's anything else I need for my first pc build, or if everything is included (thermal paste, fans, etc). Also, any tips for a noob would be much appreciated!
