Hi there, I had a long gaming session yesterday with around 175GB recorded through OBS. After I ended the session I noticed that whenever I open up my File Explorer, the disk usage according to Task Managers goes up to 100% and the memory usage climbs steadily. After around a minute it will be at 100% memory usage which is where the entire system freezes and only a restart will let me use it again. I can do everything as usual as long as i dont open file explorer. Does anyone know what the issue could be here?

4 beeps after installing new GPU, PC still boots fine?
LYPTUS replied to BorisTheBlade's topic in Troubleshooting
I have seen this issue pop upwith 3000 series. It was usually because of the legacy boot mode. Switching over to UEFI should fix it.- 7 replies

Hey man, sorry for the late reply. My BIOS version is: 94.2.26.80.3c. I have tried both Silent and OC Bios but wasnt able to see a diffference...

It definitely is common in Germany. All "recent" Unitymedia "Routers/APs" have this feature built in and factory activated. This has been the case for a few years now. You did have the option to turn this off at any time tho. The "tradeoff" being the fact that you won't be able to connect to these wifi spots while out and about. This could change however with the recent takeover of Unitymedia by Vodafone.

how many people managed to get a ryzen 5000 cpu
LYPTUS replied to Smackaroy's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I feel like Germany is doing very well with these releases lately. I managed to get my hand on a 5800x, as well as an RTX 3080 and a 3070... Weird that other Markets are having such huge issues. -
I am very much aware. But the issue that is addressed here is that of inconsistent frame times that lead to microstutter (1% lows) and not a general FPS decrease.
-
Coming from an "NVIDIA Forum Representative". The Fix being discussed in the thread is only for frametime issues/stuttering and doesnt actually improve fps. The Release Notes for the last driver also mention this as known issue: Windows 10 Only [Warzone][RTX 30 series]: Users may see a drop in performance during gameplay.[3132127]

It seems that NVIDIA has acknowledged the Issue with Warzone - apparently, performance on the 3000 series will be fixed with the next driver issue.

Big Sur already is on the Intel Based Macs. We will definitely see support for Intel based Macs for quite a few years. Apple supported the PowerMac Macs for around 3 years after the transition to Intel. I am assuming, that it will be at least as long this time given that its likely going to be less of a hassle to support with current hardware/software possibilities.

They are going to replace the base model 13inch as first ARM Mac

I bought a DT990 Edition (32Ohms) as some form of improvement from my HyperX Cloud 2 on my Gaming Setup. I wasnt expecting much at the price but I feel like there is barely any difference in audio quality and its actually rather quiet. Is this an issue with my soundcard? Its showing as a Realtek® ALC892/ALC897. Would a proper DAC improve the sound quality or are these Headphones just not that good?

My RAM is definitely operating at 3200MHz. I have confirmed this multiple times to make sure. My CPU is not throttling frequency wise. Thermals like you said arent optimal but they surely shouldnt be limiting me. I am of course running in fullscreen. Im sure I'd see better FPS with a high end processor but I didnt expect performance this bad with the R5 3600X...

Reinstalling windows sadly didnt work for me... did you change anything else?
-
Yeah thats the exact same card I have. If I crank everything to the max I get even less than 60... Did you try Warzone? What CPU are you running?
-
This isn't "just macs being macs". Stop simping for Windows. Both can have issues. Have you tried an SMC reset? Do you get any error messages? Tried a different charger? Im assuming you are using the original apple charger?
