  1. Hello! I just finished building my second pc (first mini-itx) with the following specs: CPU: I5-13600KF RAM: 2x16gb 5200Mhz Kingston Fury Beast MBO: Asus Rog Strix B760-I GPU: 3080FE 10Gb Case: Coolermaster Nr200p Max (includes PSU and 280mm AIO) 2x Noctua 140mm slim fans (both exhaust as mentioned here: NR200P Max review ) There were no issues getting the PC to run until I tried out games and noticed the CPU got pretty warm (80c in BF2042). That was a bummer because from everything I've read the NR200P max has pretty good thermal for an itx case. I then tried out cinebench r23 and monitored temps with HWInfo and my CPU pretty much instantly shoots up to 100c and throttles. I still manage to get a score of around 20k however I've seen most hit about 24k. The cpu runs at anywhere from 1.3-1.4v under load. The pump also doesn't seem faulty as I idle at 31-35c XMP is enabled. What I tried: Reapplying thermal paste Switching stock thermal paste for mx-4 Yes the peel is off the AIO Turned off Asus multicore enhancement Offset CPU voltage by -0.15v, which helped a tiny bit but still easily hits 95-100c Adding a tdp limit of 180w Adjusting fan curves Updated bios Taking off sidepanels completely Another thing that I have tried is undervolting the CPU to 1.2 volts because the stock settings seem pretty high to me. After doing that the temps went to 75c max but my cinebench score went down to 9000 and it said I'm only running @3.5Ghz even tho all my cores are boosting correctly. Besides that the included fans from coolermaster making a weird rattling noise. I checked if anything is touching them but the cage prevents any cables from doing so. They both only start doing it at about 80%+ fan speed and when I tilt the case the noise stops. Fan noise I'd be super thankful if anyone could try and help me out with this one, it's been hours of trial and error now...
  2. Before I start, I know this issue was brought up dozens of times but none of the fixes worked for me and the posts are fairly old. Setup: AMD Ryzen 5 1600, MSI B350 PC Mate, MSI 1070ti (OC), 2x 8gb Corsair Vengeance OC 3000Mhz Monitors: BenQ 24" LED - RL2455 (@60Hz) HDMI, Samsung C27HG70 (@144hz) DP, btw. the samsung monitor is honestly the worst expierience I've ever had with a monitor the stand is so big that it takes up half of the desks depth and HDR is awful in windows. Running latest Nvidia Drivers and Windows Issue: Whenever content is displayed on the 60Hz display, the 144hz gets "throttled" to 60hz. This doesn't happen while I'm in fullscreen on my main monitor but always tabbing out is so annoying and not a fix for me. Troubleshooting list: Disabling Hardware Acceleration in Chrome and Opera Scaling to GPU Setting second Display to a dividable number of 144Hz (72Hz) Setting main Display to a multiple of 60Hz (120Hz) Using a different browser than chrome Using Nvidia Inspector and turn on Multi Monitor performance mode I'd be so thankful if someone can help me out
