So I plugges my Samsung AKG earphones in my pc using a splitter to use it as a mic and a headset. But all I hear in sound recorder is static. I checked another earphones and they are working just fine. I also used the AKG earphones on my phone and they are working just fine. Can anyone help?

I used an adapter but all I hear is static on sound recorder.
