  1. It is highly unlikely that your crashing is being caused by temperature when you have a proper working cooler and your card is running at 60 deg. Can you provide more information on the crashing like what do you do when it crashes? How often does it crash? Is the power supply sufficient? Does your computer lock up when it crashes or does it recover without a reboot? What makes you think that the card is good?
  2. I think everyone is going a bit off-topic here. OP is a first-time builder and wouldn't bother with all this.
  3. Your build is solid but, have you considered using Ryzen 5 5500? In my country both the 12100 and 5500 are of a similar price but the B450 motherboards are significantly cheaper than B660 motherboards.
  4. Is he? He was quite accurate on Alder Lake, though.
  5. RDNA2 is quite comparable to Ampere in performance. The 6900xt and 3090 trade blows with each other and one is faster than the other depending on the game. RDNA3 is also releasing next year and is expected to be better than Lovelace (RTX 40 Series). All the leaks on Lovelace suggest it consumes an absurd amount of power. Moore's Law is Dead recently did a leak video on this topic. He expected both RDNA3 and Lovelace to launch approximately the same time i.e in Q3 of 2022 if I remember correctly. Here is the link to his video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hx18lRwaKi4&t=921s
  6. Alder Lake is a very good upgrade but you might want to wait for Zen 3D if you have the patience and money to spend on another and probably even pricier 3d variant of the 5950x. The current 5950X is also a viable option, but the 12900K beats it in a lot of areas and is cheaper too.
  7. You don't really have to upgrade to Windows 11 to use Alder Lake. It performs just as well with Windows 10. Gamers Nexus did a video on that. Only a couple of older pieces of software were buggy but everything else was just fine. Link to the video: Gamers Nexus Comparison of Windows 10 and 11 on Alder Lake
  8. Consider editing your previous post that states that the PSU exploded. It may cause confusion or misinformation to people who read only half of the thread.
  9. Well yeah, the CPU reviews are pretty bogus on userbenchmark, but I have never seen anything about their gpu benchmarks. Are they the same BS as the cpu stuff?
  10. That is a definitely a scam. A laptop of these specs would not cost that much even if we consider the higher prices in Philippines.
  11. Well, it was visible on the forum homepage, if that counts.... EDIT: Oh sorry, I thought that this post was supposed to be the test post. Didn't see the screenshot properly.
  12. I think you should get 16GB of memory as you are using integrated graphics. The video and system memory will be shared so 8GB might be a bit too less.
  13. The wire was indeed the problem. I have two RJ45 network I/O boxes. One of them is not properly punched. Thanks for the info.
  14. I have done a surface test on the disk and one of the sectors was bad (Yes, just one. Fingers crossed). Maybe that was causing the problem. Hopefully more sectors don't start going bad. It is a relatively new 1TB disk. I will try that if that bad sector was not the cause of this.
