  1. It's just weird that a lot of people ripped the last 2 tracks that many times. And then EAC's message about accuracy not verified on those same tracks.
  2. First thing is that I'm using the CD Ripper from dbpoweramp. The rip status column looks like this-- This confused me.... makes me suspicious of the tracks except the last two. I have a feeling those AccurateRip reports could have been when I ripped the CD another time or two (suck at managing the files, and I'm re-ripping to FLAC now (first was MP3 a long time ago)). So I downloaded EAC (it also does AccurateRip and the results really confused me (none of the CRCs match, plus it thought the first 13 tracks were fine, the last 2 are the ones it had issues with): - CUETools DB Plugin V2.1.6 - [CTDB TOCID: KL7qacFWXNdGfIZpXx9soBOrw60-] found Submit result: KL7qacFWXNdGfIZpXx9soBOrw60- has been confirmed Track | CTDB Status 1 | (114/114) Accurately ripped 2 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 3 | (114/114) Accurately ripped 4 | (114/114) Accurately ripped 5 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 6 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 7 | (113/114) Accurately ripped 8 | (113/114) Accurately ripped 9 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 10 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 11 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 12 | (113/114) Accurately ripped 13 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 14 | (112/114) Accurately ripped 15 | (112/114) Accurately ripped _________________________________ Track 1 Peak level 100.0 % Track quality 99.8 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [2A0A96D7] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 2 Peak level 99.4 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [2EEFB278] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 3 Peak level 99.9 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [15A8DB7C] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 4 Peak level 97.5 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [808C5F2B] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 5 Peak level 100.0 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [1CCF9834] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 6 Peak level 82.3 % Track quality 99.9 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [B3A8433F] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 7 Peak level 99.4 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [EC529DBD] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 8 Peak level 99.9 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [935CB62B] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 9 Peak level 99.9 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [B00747E2] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 10 Peak level 100.0 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [2BE57C55] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 11 Peak level 98.8 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [E14490D4] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 12 Peak level 99.6 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [B9D1A1D4] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 13 Peak level 98.9 % Track quality 100.0 % Accurately ripped (confidence 2) [EED69AF3] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 14 Peak level 99.9 % Track quality 100.0 % Cannot be verified as accurate (confidence 10) [BA39EC09], AccurateRip returned [8454143C] (AR v2) Copy OK Track 15 Peak level 99.9 % Track quality 99.9 % Cannot be verified as accurate (confidence 10) [C06C542E], AccurateRip returned [31E3E1C6] (AR v2) Copy OK 13 track(s) accurately ripped 2 track(s) could not be verified as accurate Some tracks could not be verified as accurate No errors occurred End of status report Can anyone tell me what is going on, or if I'm doing something wrong? 3. Thanks for the info Fasauceome-- Hopefully can watch the GN stuff when I have some free time in the next few days.
  4. At some point in the last month or 3, I thought I read something about how there are situations where the 3950X (maybe 3900X) has some serious performance problems if Windows assigns an application multiple cores that aren't in the same 'node', and if a core is attempting to access cache that is associated with the other node--not sure if node is quite the right terminology. The 3700X doesn't have this problem because all its cores are in the same node, and it went on to say that the Zen 3 architecture wouldn't have this limitation. Is there any truth to this?
