I have an EKSA E900 Gaming Headset with a detachable microphone. Also, I am mostly sure it's a laptop issue, cause the mic works perfectly fine on my phone when the headphones are plugged in.

I have a Acer Predator Helios 300 (i7-8750H, 1050Ti, 8GB DDR4 RAM). I recently, bought a pair of headphones and the microphone isn't being recognized. Also, the default laptop microphone is really bad even after updating the drivers and reinstalling all the devices over and over again. Apps like discord just don't work properly and I have to listen to my annoying friends constantly asking me to speak louder and constantly asking me to repeat myself. This problem has ruined my mood multiple times. Pls Help...
