  1. I will check tomorrow but i have an aorus b550 elite v2 and it came with the bios that supported the ryzen 5000 series if that helps
  2. alright thanks for all of the help
  3. I have cleaned out the gpu and it doesn’t look like it is overheating on hwmonitor. I have completely wiped my whole boot drive and reinstalled everything but nothing has fixed it so far
  4. I don’t really have anything to swap something out with and test to see if it goes away
  5. Hi, for a few months now I have had weird stuttering doing anything on my pc and it's like I'm getting frame drops just doing things like scrolling down a webpage. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this or if my gpu is dying. I have tried reinstalling and updating my drivers as well, I have also even tried a fresh install of windows. Thanks (I don't know if this will help but here are my specs: ryzen 5 5600x 16gb 3200mhz ram gtx 1660 super)
  6. One of them is when my pc is idle and the other one is after about 10 mins of playing project playtime
  7. I will try running that program and I have tried multiple games. This has also been going on for every since I built it a year ago so there has been many restarts
  8. It is basically every game but I will list a few. Fortnite, Poppy playtime, Overwatch 2. And it's basically just every setting set at low or medium.
  9. Ok first of all here are my specs: r5 5600x gtx 1660 super 16gb 3200mhx ram So basically every single game I play I always get fps drops around every 10 seconds and it makes it impossible to use my pc for the main reason I bought it for. I have checked and my graphics drivers are up to date. I have even tried games on the lowest possible settings and I get frame drops. Anyone know what's happening?
  10. Hi, I have recently been searching for a laptop to buy (this will be my secondary machine) and just wondered if anyone had some good recommendations of what I should buy. My needs: Can do video editing in 1080p at least in 60 fps. Can play games such as Stray, Overwatch, Valorant 16gb of ram 512gb ssd (at least) At least 5-6 hours of battery life (not including gaming) Under £900 I have seen a laptop that fits these needs: https://amzn.eu/d/cyqb1Nc but the reviews have kind of thrown me off when they say it blue screens a lot and the battery life is short. So what do you think? Should I stick with the vivobook or is there another option? Thanks
  11. Hi, Ok so this is going to be my first ever pc build but when I make a list i can't manage to stay in my budget. Also, if you could give any recommendations of what GPU I should have that would be much appreciated. Budget (including currency): £1,000 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Youtube, gaming, editing game fottage Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 144hz would be nice on most games. I will also buy asap.
