MobiusPower's Achievements

  1. The performance is fine for now. That's why I asked If I would actually need a better CPU in the future. Seems like this isn't the case. It feels like my old i5, but better. Thanks anyway.
  2. The prices vary wildly here, Paid roughly 88 USD for the 9100F. While the i5-9400F sells for 182.75 USD... And the i7-9700F goes for no less than 427.90 USD.
  3. I recently switched away from a B250 + i5-7400 combo to an H310 + i3-9100F one... The i3 is a pretty decent CPU and for now is serving me well, as I rarely do 3D gaming (but when I do I play flight simulators or space simulators such as SpaceEngine [not Space Engineers]). Also I like virtualizing alternate operating systems for testing. Wanted to exit Kaby Lake which has been discontinued and offered no affordable upgrade path, and went to 9th gen (as Comet Lake is still kinda expensive in Brazil)... So chose the MSI H310M PRO-M2 Plus Mobo + the Core i3-9100F. Is the i3 enough for my usage or will I need a CPU upgrade in the near future? If yes, which one will give me the best bang for the buck? The 6-core/6-thread i5-9400F or the 8C/8T i7-9700F?
