  1. I'd had a big issue with an insider build of Windows 11 for months where the game would stutter if I moved the mouse. I ended up reinstalling to get back to a stable version of Windows, but left my other drives untouched. Both had games from game pass installed on them, as well as games from the Epic games store and Steam. All of the games worked before the reinstall, and the Steam and Epic games still work fine. However, none of the Xbox games were detected in the app (I had to reinstall that) and now it won't install any games on the D or E drive (that weren't touched in installation). I think its because there are still files in the WindowsApps folders on those drives. I tried to delete them, only to be told I didn't have permission. I took control of the folders and subfolders, to be told I still don't have permission from myself. I have no clue what to do at this point. It gives me the error code 0x80070002, which doesn't show up for my issue online. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  2. It says I have to wait for the next Windows release, or I'd have to reinstall completely. I'm queued for unenrollment though
  3. I recently joined the insider program's beta channel to just see what it was like, and quickly found out that games now stuttered to a stop whenever I moved the mouse. It would be running smoothly at 144fps, then moving the mouse would bring it down close to 1fps. I don't know what's causing it, but until I can unenroll, I'm stuck with this. Are there any fixes I can try?
  4. Well the computer still works fine, other than the fact that there are two dead memory slots. As far as I know, tpm stores keys that unlock the drives in your system. If the motherboard got replaced, would I still have those keys?
  5. Hi, I'm not too worried about it affecting the return, its more that I don't know what will happen to all my data. I don't use bitlocker either.
  6. Hi, last year I got a new Asus motherboard which has been working perfectly up until this point. However, it suddenly wouldn't boot and was displaying the error code "0d" which means the memory is broken. I tried switching the ram into different slots and it worked. It seems I'll need to get a warranty replacement but I have ftpm enabled and dont know if that'll cause any problems. Any help would be appreciated.
  7. Next year, I am hoping to wire my house up with cat 8, as it won't really be touched for a long time once it's done. I don't really want to channel the walls as it would cost a lot to re-plaster, but I can't find any outside cat 8 cabling. Does anyone know if it exists, and if so, where can I buy it?
  8. Unforunately I don't think that is correct. The case I was using before was not the original case; it was an old gamemax. This motherboard would have come in a Lenovo M81 tower, so this can't be a proprietary connector. I have just checked whether the case was using an adapter, but it wasn't. Thanks for answering anyway.
  9. So, I just got a new case, and installed my old computer. I knew that I wouldn't be able to connect most of my front panel, but thought audio would work, as i had it working fine in my old case. However, the connectors are completely different, and I can't find anything on it online. The motherboard i'm using is an old lenovo 0385CJ1. Please can anyone help if possible?
