So I was going to give my sister and her husband my old computer, but I wanted to reset Windows 8 to factory settings and deleting all personal files etc using the feature it offers in the software. Well, it started the process, but at 16% it froze (the spinning dots were frozen as well). After about 30 minutes I hard reset it, and now it doesn't load anything to my monitor. I tried to start it without the HDD and or the DVD drive, and it does not load bios to my monitor. I even took out the GPU and plugged the monitor directly into the vga port on the mobo. I did try unplugging the power cord to the power supply and turning it on for 30 seconds, and that did not appear to do anything. I am just perplexed what to do since it doesn't even load the BIOS, when the HDD isn't attached.
So the specs are a little goofy as it was my second pc I ever bought, and was a prebuilt back in 2008...

That is what the prebuilt was, but I changed the PSU to some rocketfish ( =O ) 650 watts PSU, It has 4 1gig ram sticks in it, the gpu was a gt 9600 oc edition, and it had Windows 8 32 bit version running... It was running "fine" before I started the reformat, and now it is all sad panda...
All help is appreciated...
