  1. Budget (including currency): 1000 USD ~ 1200 USD (Max) Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Wolfenstein, Doom Eternal, Mostly gaming and sometimes AI (I usually use AWS/GCP for this, so it's not something that's ranking high on my list) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm getting this build for my little brother. He's just starting out with gaming so I'm not looking at competitive high refresh rate monitors/ extreme peripherals. My target is to get this PC as future proof as possible as my parents will pretty much never upgrade the PC. I'd like to get a suggestion for a good monitor (with a 21'+ display) but that's not a priority rn and can be excluded from the budget. I don't need peripherals either as I will get them later. A 512 GB - 1 TB SSD will be enough. The parts I have decided on so far are: AMD Ryzen 3600 Processor + 16 GB RAM https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails?ItemList=Combo.4104200 ASUS Prime X570-P Ryzen 3 AM4 https://www.newegg.com/asus-prime-x570-p/p/N82E16813119199 I also don't have a big preference for cases, and I very much don't want RGB everything. I am actually in Bangladesh and am planning to get these things brought in by a family friend. I want to buy the products on Black Friday and little idea about the sales (I've heard unbelievable things). Is there is a way for me to know about which products will be on sale? P.s. I want the PC to be compatible with a RTX 3070/ the thing AMD plans to bring out soon. I'd posted something similar on another thread and it was shifted here. But as I think it does not meet the guidelines I'm posting a more complete post here.
  2. Umm monitor yes, peripherals nah I'll get those separately from here. And yea please do make the build!
  3. This is my first time building a new PC. The last PC I had is now 15 years old (with 312 MB DDR-2 RAM and an 8 GB HDD Pentium 4). I don't have a very high budget, say about 900~1000 dollars excluding the graphics card. I want my PC to be RTX 3070 compatible (for the day it finally comes back in stock). Since Black Friday is coming soon, I was planning on getting parts brought in from the US (Dad's friend in New York). What should my build be like and what'd be the best way for me to cash in on Black Friday (as a foreigner all I know is that there are some really crazy deals in this time). The parts I have decided on so far are: AMD Ryzen 3600 Processor + 16 GB RAM https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails?ItemList=Combo.4104200 ASUS Prime X570-P Ryzen 3 AM4 https://www.newegg.com/asus-prime-x570-p/p/N82E16813119199 Future-proofing isn't really a priority for me, as my parents refused to upgrade my old PC for 15 years, I want something that my little brother can game on without worrying about games no longer running on it for at least the next 5 years. A 512 GB - 1 TB storage is fine, unless there's a really good sale. I'm pretty lost on the other parts, specially the case. Pardon me for my indecisiveness. I'll most likely get only one shot at the PC build.
