So i have a 980ti (launched june 2 2015) so nearly 6 years ago, is there any point in keeping up to date with the drivers, what are the new ones doing? do they optimise the latest games for all series of GPU's or just the more modern ones, like the 20 or 30 series? Slightly unrelated question, would a new gpu work at all on drivers older than it? reason i ask is because i use helixVision to play games in vr, but that requires running drivers older than 452.06, due to the fact that was the last driver to support stereoscopic 3d, so would that make the 30 series incompatible?

Hi all, i had 2 crucial mx300's in a raid 0 array, the power went out and after one drive is not recognised at all, doesn't show in bios or anything. i'd like to reuse the other drive which shows up fine, but i can't delete the volumes on it, i get the following error "The parameter is incorrect" (see attached image) if i try to format a partition i get "the format did not complete succesfully", if i try a not quick format it got about halfway through then just stopped there (i left it overnight) Anyone have any idea how to make it useable, i don't care about any data on it, just want to reuse the hardware.
