  1. Hello guys! My name is Michele i’m from Italy, and i apologize in advance for my bad English. I decided to ask for some help in this forum cause i think this community could really help me in my build choice. The budget is pretty high, 3000€ (3562,65$ ) PC + 1000€ (1187,55$) monitor. The main use is for gaming, but I will also have to render with Keyshot. It will be my definitive PC for the next 9999 years Let’s start: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 600€ (712,23$) Seems like this is the best new CPU in a good range price, perfect for gaming and good for render. Actually for me the 5950X it’s out of a good price range. CPU COOLER: Corsair H100i Pro XT 240mm / Corsair H100i Capellix 240mm 132-160€ (156,69- 189,93$) Willing to change for one with better value for money MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO 200€ (237,41$) I’m not 100% sure about this one, there are a lot of motherboard, MSI, ASUS, TUF, but i have “experience” with Gigabyte. Which are the best parameters to check for a motherboard? There are a lot of differences between AORUS ELITE/PRO/ULTRA, and which one has the best value for money? MEMORY: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory 190€ (225,54$) 32 GB should be enough for render, even too much for gaming atm, but in the future I think they will be useful for gaming too. In my research, CL16 2x32 seems to be the only ones. Any others? STORAGE: SAMSUNG 970 M.2 1TB + 970 M.2 500GB + HDD SEAGATE BARRACUDA 4TB 7200rpm 173+100+100€ (205,34+ 118,69+ 118,69$) 500gb only for OS, 1TB for gaming, 4TB for storage video/render/photo etc. There is something better than those, in this price range? GPU: RTX 3080 750~1000€ (890,21~1186,94$) Here the weak point…..in Italy the 3080/3090 are completely unavailable!!!! the first stock should arrive in late December/early January and it is not certain that they are still purchasable!! So i’ll chose the 1st brand available or maybe waiting for the 3080ti for a better VRAM for rendering (but it’s true the latest news talk about no more 3080ti?!?!?) Or maybe again….push my budget to the limit and take the 3090, VRAM is pretty important for rendering in GPU mode, and most important a better GPU mean less time for rendering. 3090 it’s around 1700€ (2009$) CASE: COOLER MASTER H500 134€ (158,34$) This should be one of the biggest mid tower, with a very good airflow, i was looking for Corsair iCUE 465X, it’s smaller but very looking good case and a good RGB management. Any better idea? PSU: CORSAIR RMx 850W 157€ (185.52$) Nvidia said 750W it’s enought for the 3080/3090, but i prefer 850W to be safe. The 1st thing is the psu has to be very solid, i repleaced like 3 or 4 psu in the last 10 yr, the other way around, i have never had a problem with Corsair. MONITORS: 1000€ (1181,65$) No idea. Atm i have 2 monitor: 1-FHD 60Hz 2- 4K LG 27UK600 60Hz I was wondering about 4 options: 1- 4K 144Hz (so hard to find and there are just 3 or 4 existing model very expensive) + my 4K LG 27UK600 60Hz 2- Selling my 4k monitor and buy 2x QHD 160hz 3- Selling my 4k monitor and buy 1 QHD 160hz for gaming and 1 QHD 60Hz just for support 4- Buy only 1 QHD 160Hz for gaming + my 4K LG 27UK600 60Hz but i hate different resolution!!! Here we are, let's see what you think. Thanks
