  1. Alrighty. Thanks for the advice. I'm a noob when it gets to the physical part of the pc.
  2. You think my Corsair Hydro Series H90 140MM Liquid Cooling would handle a CPU OC. To be honest, I have no idea if i have to change it just b/c of It's age alone. Temps are fine but I've read that closed Loop Coolers tend to go bad after a few years of use. The fan of the cooler already makes noise when its spinning but It might of been caused by dust after i cleaned it with an air compressor.
  3. Hi everyone. I need help deciding what to spend my $800 on to upgrade my 4-year-old pc. I have an $800 budget. Goal: Play at 1440p and 60 fps without my pc getting over 80c. I normally reduce my graphics to reduce heat but it getting harder with more modern games. Here are my specs: Motherboard: Z170X-GAMING 3 GPU: 980TI 6G GDDR5 (ZOTAC) CPU: I7-6700k 4GHz 8MB RAM: ADATA 4gb DDR4-2800 XPG Z1 (QTY : 4) PSU: APEVIA 900WATT (Probably the worst part of my pc) CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H90 140MM Liquid Cooling Case: Corsair Carbine Clear 600c Inverse ATX Full Tower I'm already planning to upgrade my PSU since that one is sketchy. I was going for a 3070 but idk if my money would do better invested in other components. Maybe upgrade my motherboard and CPU and try to get a 2080-Ti if they every drop below the 3070?
