  1. These are the connectors... There are two speakers, each having a red one and a blue one
  2. I have two speakers, which were a part of a Phillips MCD290/98 system that my dad bought in '07. The system failed, the cd player, cassette player, fm tuner, nothing worked. So we sold it. But the speakers were mint. But now I don't have an amp to run them. Also I don't recognise what connection it uses (classic mid 2000s proprietary shizz). Please help me find a DAC and amp for them. Desktop amp, splitter that connects to my pc, wireless or not, it doesn't matter. Please help me out.
  3. Well, According to the second screenshot, the disk is detected as 931gb but the partition that is on there is only 371gb. Is it the boot drive or is there some data on it? If not format it and select simple volume and basic allocation. It would allow more control over the management of partitions on that disk
  4. I switched to Ubuntu 20.04 recently as i had problems on win8. By default ubuntu uses Xorg Nouveau drivers, but i wanted to overclock so i installed green with envy, which said i needed proprietary drivers to overclock. So i tried installing Nvidia from additional drivers panel. But it threw up many errors. Also, I did it again after purging existing Nvidia drivers Pls help by:- Resolving the issue suggesting any other software for overclocking or overclocking with the same Xorg drivers if possible. The error file is attached nvidia-340.0.txt
  5. Just in case, if I use the external HDD will it crash under prolonged use?
  6. Budget (including currency): Rs.8000 Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Media Server Other details: Hi there! I am looking to revive my old PC as a Media Server over LAN. The server will be in use about 15 hours a day. I am confused about storage and power supply. I will be using Jellyfin server on top of Arch Linux. I don't think an NIC is needed as I have 100MbE. Actual Dilemma: I am looking to buy a new PSU as the old one is whining bad and smoking hot. Pls suggest some good n cheap one. I already have an external 2TB HDD. Shall I use the same one connected via USB or buy a new internal hard disk(I prefer at least 4TB). If so then which one? :)
  7. Try to put the 4GB one in the slot marked "DIMM-1" And boot without the older stick
  8. Pls render this one for me as my PC ain't up to the mark. Use Blender 2.90 if possible Thank You finally.blend
  9. teeeeny bit of that is fine then...
  10. And having linux is not an issue... rather it has the widest range of generic tools to test or benchmark
  11. Which brand of disks do you own? 'Cuz Seagate has SeaTools thingie which is also available for linux
  12. Depends on which game you wish to host... For eg, I find Minecraft Java Edition hosting to be easy.. I dont play any other game anyways
  13. Hi there... I want some movie recommendations... Criteria:- Fiction, humour, sci-fi, etc is preferable. NO romance, drama or such stuff. R-rated is OK as long as it is violence only. Movie series is preferred so i can binge-watch. English Language is a MUST. No dub pls.
