  1. Hey thanks for your response. I was fearing the same and your comment only adds fuel. What are the odds of something like that faulting after a year+ of working? I'm a novice here. This has all be a learning experience but one for which I'm grateful for.
  2. My rig: 3800x ASUS tuf x570-plus (wifi) Rosewill 1200 photon zotac Rtx 2060 super mini Corsair 8x2 ddr4 3200 vengeance A year and two months ago—so 2 months outside part warranty— I purchased a pc through cyberpowerpc directly online. Came home a week ago and it wouldn't turn on--Just the switch click..No POST. I don't have a pc speaker but the board has QLED lights to help diagnose POST issues. No lights. Six hours prior, it powered on and I left it in sleep-mode. Fast forward and after a lot of interneting and reassembly, I have a computer that will not turn on on command but will invariable turn on seemingly when it feels like it. I'm thoroughly confused friends. I'm using the PC now.. Things i've noticed: The MOBO has some "idle rgb" and if and when it lights you can press the power button or bridge the pins and the computer will start and stay running. Just a few days ago i played a six hour game session without interruption and in the morning, just the click. It seems like the rbg will only light after periods of down time. PSU unplugged, holding the power button to rid the system of electricity. Often plugging the PSU back in will sometimes flicker the rgb, but if you catch the flicker the system will power on and stay on. Things I've done to troubleshoot: I took the whole mofo apart checking all the connections, reseated all the components and reassembled it. I removed the psu paperclip tested it and then put it into a known working computer and it fired up. Thinking it may be the power switch, I reassembled it and bridged the pins. I replaced the PSU--new cables and same issue. I've removed all the ram, swapped the ram, tried to POST on each stick Removed graphics, reseated it. Removed the CMOS batt and bridge the jumper. Same issue; it would selectively move to POST and catching missing components but on its own goddamn will. Really the only thing I haven't done is barebone it outside the case. The MOBO isn't getting power all the time somehow but when it gets it, it keeps it. Again, I'm using the pc right now--new psu. Big confuse.
