  1. I was also thinking about getting 2 of these https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232195?Item=N82E16820232195&nm_mc=AFC-RAN-COM&cm_mmc=AFC-RAN-COM&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=afc-PCPartPicker&AFFID=2558510&AFFNAME=PCPartPicker&ACRID=1&ASID=https%3a%2f%2fpcpartpicker.com%2f&ranMID=44583&ranEAID=2558510&ranSiteID=8BacdVP0GFs-7iE07Dp8cLX7DA2n7Bq8IA non RGB G.Skill ram with same timings, but then it would kind of ruin the whole vibe with my PC lol. RGB tax is lit.
  2. Dang that sucks. A lot of 2x8gb and 4x8gb kits white those timing are overpriced, but I'll look more into it. Thanks for the reply. I was looking at this kit https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232491 2x8GB 3600 CL16-16-16-36 which is $135, but then getting 2 of those would be $270.... yikes.
  3. I ordered 'Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 Desktop Gaming Memory (Black)' part name: BL2K16G36C16U4BL for my new build with a 5900x + 3080 thinking it was dual rank and didn't really look into it or anything until I saw a reddit post about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/js2pca/crucial_ballistix_rgb_single_rank_or_dual_rank/ . So I went to CPU-Z and my memory is single rank I'm thinking about returning it and was wondering if G.Skills Trident Z Neo 2x16GB or G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2x16GB are single rank or dual rank. They are currenlty both $180 on newegg, which is how much I paid for my Cruical memory kit which turned out to be single rank, which is why I'm confused about purchasing it. Can anyone confirm if these are single or dual rank modules please?! G.SKILL Trident Z Neo 2x16GB G.SKILL Trident Z RGB Series 2x16GB
  4. Yea I wish I had an extra Intel cpu to test it but I’ve just cleared cmos as well and i don’t know what else to try... I think my motherboard is dead.
  5. I went to turn on my PC this morning and the power button was not turning on my PC. I turned off + unplugged the power supply and made sure that my case power switch pins were connected and still nothing. I tested my PSU with the paper clip method and the fan was working. The motherboard lights are on but fans won’t spin. I’ve tried testing all my components but I’m still not sure what the problem is. I took out my cpu, reseated it and nothing, took out my gpu, tried different ram sticks and slot. Tried short circuiting power switch pins with a metal screwdriver as well. I think it’s a motherboard/CPU problem but idk. Please help. I have an i5 8400, EVGA 1060 6gb SC, 16gb t-force memory 3000 cl16, ASUS H370-F motherboard, hyper 212 evo black edition, built it in fall 2018
  6. Thanks for the help. I had most of the acoustic engine effects enabled that's probably why the audio was so bad. I'll try out these settings.
  7. I recently bought the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Studio Headphones (Ninja Black, Limited Edition) 250 ohm and the SoundBlasterX G6 dac/amp. I’m having trouble hearing directional audio such as footsteps, gunshots, etc. Should I be using stereo mode, 5.1, or 7.1? What equalizer and other effects(surround, crystallizer, bass, smart volume, dialog+) should I use? Dolby audio on full, normal or night? The games I play are mostly Call of Duty, Warzone, Rainbow Six Siege. I tried scout mode and I didn’t like it. I also compared it to my previous headset the Logitech G Pro X and I feel like the Pro X had better footstep/directional audio, but I’m not sure... maybe just need to get used to the DT990’s.
