  1. Okay thanks, but how do I run it when my PC doesn't boot at all?
  2. Thanks for your answer Sauron! That's what I thought as well. I already resetted my CMOS. How do I run a memtest?
  3. Hello dear Tech and LTT community, I am currently waiting for an 3080 to appear somewhere online in order to build a new system. In the meantime I'm trying to sell (parts of) my old PC. Old PC: OS: Windows 10 CPU: i5 3570k, MB: Gigabyte ga-h77m-d3h GPU: died 4 years ago so only onboard RAM: DDR3 2x4GB HyperX Blu and 1x8G HyperX Fury PSU: Thermaltake Berlin 630 watts Yesterday when I wanted to start my machine (haven't done that in about a year besides one exception) I was confronted with the following beeping pattern: 3 long beeps, pause, 3 long beeps followed by the PC shutting down and restarting again. I looked that pattern up and found an article which said that something might be wrong with my ram. I then removed all my ram and got continuous short beeps. After that I tried all possible configurations with my three ram sticks. While trying only one stick, my machine suddenly booted like nothing ever happened. I then turned off my computer again, changed nothing and tried turning it on again and got the same beeping pattern I described earlier. To be sure I tried it a second time, got the 3 long, pause, 3 long pattern again but now followed by continious short beeps until my machine turned off again. Since then I only get the 3 long, pause, 3 long pattern. Resetting the bios did nothing for me btw. Does anyone else have an idea what might be wrong with it? Thanks in advance!
