  1. Oh I see it now... It has been a while since I tried it but I know I would have tried looking up the number if I saw it. Maybe the motherboard is on it's way out so it wasn't showing a code.. Or I am just wrong lol. I will have my friend try and boot it later today and see if it says anything. Thanks for the help!
  2. That's an easy one too, I will give it a try! Thanks!
  3. Haha fair point. Yeah I don't have any extras on hand so I will give it a try, thanks!
  4. Ohhh right, I can send my friend one of those beepers. Would that tell me if one of the components has failed?
  5. I have tried reseting the CMOS with no luck... And I have tried removing and reinstalling the RAM but still no luck. The PSU is a Rosewell Fortress from 2014, not sure of the exact model because the computer is on the other side of the country right now. Oh and I don't have another graphics card available to try in there.
  6. I don't have the PC on me, but I don't believe the motherboard had a display for that
  7. Hey guys, I need help trouble shooting my old PC so a friend can use it. When powered on, the fans and lights will turn on but nothing is displayed on the monitor. I used to be able to solve this by unplugging everything from the computer and plugging it back in but that doesn't work anymore. Anyone know what could be the issue? He has $200 to upgrade/fix it and I don't want to tell him to get the wrong new part. Would it be a good idea to get one of those PCI diagnostic analyzer cards? Here's what it has inside: AMD FX-8350 XFX Radeon R9 270X Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 2x 8 GB DDR3- 1600 CL10 Some Samsung SSD for boot Seagate HDD for storage Windows 10 probably Any help would be greatly appreciated..
