  1. Hi, my girlfriend has ASUS G512LW-ES76. She told me she spilled a glass of water on her laptop. After that she tried to switch on and windows comes on her screen after five minutes laptop doesnt give any response no charge light, it looks like dead. I tried my best and disassembly her laptop. I dont see any water or dried water damage. There are too much dust i cleaned them up and checked everything with my best it took 3 hours to finish it. Well it doesnt start after all my work. She told me laptop is stay closed while she spilled water. I saw some water near hinges but i dont think that was problem. I think its shorted out. How can i rescue this device? I’m not a native english speaker if i do mistakes sorry for that :)
  2. In November, my friend asked for a laptop so I searched for it and she got this model -ASUS ROG G15 G512-ES76-, which was affordable at the time in terms of price and features. We no longer have a chance to return the laptop, so we want to get the best performance out of this. You can see specs here. Look for the G512LW-ES76 CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-10750H Processor 2.6 GHz (12M Cache, up to 5.0 GHz, 6 cores) GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2070 8GB GDDR6 RAM: 2x8 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Ram (they're on dual channel mode and chips are 1r8) SSD: Intel 660P 1TB SSD 1800/1800 MB/s (%7 Over-Provisioning) BATTERY: 66WHrs, 4S1P, 4-cell Li-ion I've been testing this computer for about a week. I'm a desktop user, so I don't know much about some features of laptops. I watched the review and test videos of laptops with the same specifications to see the performance that the laptop should have. Laptop can reach the same fps as in the videos. I'd say it works fine when the computer is plugged in. The CPU (45W) and GPU (115W) are reaching their required wattage. I can say it works really hot, 95°C on GPU and CPU. This device uses liquid metal and i thought it needs to be replace. But consequently it can not come out so a big impact. Because game and benchmark results are normal. When I run this laptop on battery, the world collapses on me. I don't get stuck in FPS lock. I deactivated this option in Geforce Experience and Intel Graphics. I am running in performance mode. I activate performance mode wherever possible. I choose it to use the external video card in windows settings. P.S. This device doesn't have optimus option. While running on battery, the gpu and cpu is stuck at 30-40W power limit and 55°C temperature limit. Only minecraft non rtx mod is playable -less than 100 fps-. Ac odyssey, which is avg. 55 fps when connected to the wall, gets 8 fps when connected to the battery. Minecraft Bedrock RTX, which is avg. 90 fps when connected to the wall, gets 15 fps when connected to the battery. Is there a way to remove the temperature and power limit? Is this because the battery is not delivering enough watts?
  3. I checked everything thats not a problem
  4. We bought a laptop via amazon.com. ASUS ROG G512LW-ES76 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6 (Base: 1260MHz, Boost: 1455MHz, 115W) Latest 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H Processor 240Hz 3ms 15.6” Full HD 1920x1080 IPS-Type Display 16GB DDR4 2933MHz RAM | 1TB PCIe SSD | Windows 10 Home ROG Intelligent Cooling thermal system Thermal Grizzly Liquid Metal Thermal Compound ROG Aura Sync System with RGB Keyboard and Light Bar Gig+ Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth 5.0 | ROG Easy Upgrade Design Bundle: Get 30 days of Xbox Game Pass for PC with purchase* We can't figure out what happened. It seems %100 CPU usage on Minecraft i think that one is bottleneck. GPU is %5 - %30. I tried all the graphics settings including DSR. DSR could not work without an external display. What can I do to get higher fps? I'm playing World of warcraft with 100 - 160FPS at full settings including RTX. Minecraft is 50 - 130 and Even if I say 130, most of the time the average is 50 - 60 and this is very annoying because my screen is 240 hz 1080p.

She doesn't want to build gaming rig Well we are looking for; 144 Hz 17 inch IPS screen RTX 2060 16GB Ram NVME SSD (up to 1tb) - 512gb is okay for price English layout (maybe Turkish but i can't believe you can find any Turkish layout :)) Good build quality because we can't ship for rma to local reseller You can send device links from Amazon (USA, UK, DE, ES, TR) maybe Newegg but i think we need to go with Europe side because it has some good facts for us like shipping price.
