If I were to use a capture device (USB to HDMI) to one monitor, and duplicate it, and Just a HDMI port in the other, could I extend the 2nd monitor the the 1st? My laptop only has 1 hdmi port. thanks.

I would try an Epsom Eco tank as its inc is claimed to last a long time. If your looking for just black and white, and knowing you need to print a lot sometimes, I would say a Monochrome laser printer as you only need black toner. Stay safe

Both my monitors have a vga and hdmi port. Is it possible to daisy chain one to the other? I know you need DisplayPort but if you were to use adapters e,g,VGA or HDMI to display port (and connect that to a hdmi port using a dongle), would it work? Sorry I’m not the best at computers

For me, it depends what PC you have. If it runs smooth and quick, I might upgrade the graphics card and or monitor and just use XBox for PC.

Hi, I’m not an expert. What do you mean by daisy chain, and will it work with VGA with good quality or do you suggest a HDMI to VGA dongle, as it only has vga and hdmi, thanks for responding !

if I were you, I would let Father Dearest have a go on your existing setup before you buy him another, of course it would be a waste if he didn’t like it. Im not an expert in these things, but I would hook the monitor up to a gaming laptop.
