  1. Appreciate the input! Unfortunately in my case, Wi-Fi is a must - would the AX on the Gigabyte vs AC on the Tuf make a difference?
  2. I'm getting a Ryzen 5 5600x and cannot decide on a mobo. This is something I have very little knowledge on and therefore need a bit of help deciding between the two! Any thoughts? GIGABYTE B550 ELITE AX ASUS TUF GAMING X570 Thanks!
  3. @RONOTHAN## I do some editing - but I'll game way more than I edit. Appreciate the help guys! Checking out Linus' video now @Alireza thanks!
  4. Controversial question it seems, wanted to see what people think in regards to these two CPUs. I'm primarily looking to game @ 1440p and have a 3060ti in my build. Both of these CPU's are similar in price RYZEN 7 3700x ($399 CAD) versus the RYZEN 5 5600X ($419 CAD). From looking at gaming benchmarks it seems the 5600X blows away the 3700X, but PC friends are telling me the 3700X will be better. Any thoughts?
  5. Unfortunately! Not a huge fan if Micro Atx, but this popped up - and its cheaper than the MSI https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_1832_1833&item_id=169637 @boggy77 @Grabhanem It'd be between that and the other MSI B450 Pro carbon.
  6. @Nena Trinity Is that board better than the two above?
  7. Much appreciated @Grabhanem. Does it seem like a good deal at $170CAD/$130US?
  8. I'm in the middle of my build and can't pick between these motherboards. This is the area I know the least about, can someone help shed some light? - Ryzen 5 3600 CPU - Corsair 4000D case (owned) - Wifi is needed - Gigabyte 3060 TI (owned) MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON MAX WIFI: https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_1832_1833&item_id=167427 GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO WIFI Socket AM4: https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_1832_1833&item_id=123696
  9. Yeah getting a FE will probably be close to impossible. If you can't even see it and want a shot at getting it before next spring, I'd just go to MicroCentre or Canada Computers and backorder a 3060ti partner card.
  10. Yeah I tried to snag one of Black Friday, they were both $279. Hoping to see some boxing day deals pop up.
  11. Thanks! And yeah for sure a budget build - I wanted to find a good balance of price/performance but definitely not break the bank. I don't do anything too crazy so no need for a top tier CPU or a 3090 GPU etc. I feel like 90% of my research into building has gone to the Case, GPU and some CPU. I'm still not locked in with the 3600 as a CPU, and motherboards are still a bit of a foreign object to me when it comes to why one is better than another.

  13. Update: Thanks everyone for the input! Needless to say I did not buy it. The used card market is still crazy overpriced around me so instead I put in a backorder for a 3060ti!
  14. Thank you and @Daniel Z. for the input! Much appreciated. I was looking at some of the B550s but they are a bit out of my price range at the moment. Looking to stay in and around the $200CAD mark, which was my initial draw to the one I posted - that baby is $169CAD not USD . A basic B550 with a separate card like you mentioned might be a good option, I'll check that out!
  15. Looking to do a build that needs a wifi setup, AMD 3600x chip - nothing too crazy. Thoughts on this Motherboard for my build? $169CAD https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_1832_1833&item_id=167427 Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated.
