  1. Is it possible something is wrong with 3DMark? TimeSpy Extreme gives a low score (so does Fire Strike), but I score 14050 on Port Royal which is normal for me. I also benchmarked some games and the FPS is where it should be.
  2. I'll try the previous driver's tomorrow and post result.
  3. I attached the CSV the HWINFO64 created. But GPU hit a max of 68.5c (GPU hot spot temp 74.8), CPU T-Die hit max of 71.6c. What other numbers should I look for? LOG.CSV
  4. My EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 3090 is 30 to 40% slower than what it was. I tried reinstalling drivers. All the settings in the control panel are default. PC Specs 5950x, 64GB 3600 CL14 memory, MSI Meg Ace X570 motherboard. I bolded my current results, and the other results are from a couple months ago. I haven't made any hardware changes. I'm running Windows 11. Even though my score is crap, I actually hit a higher core clock, plus the card is 3 degrees cooler at 64c. Hopefully someone has some knowledge in case other people's GPUs suddenly perform bad. 5. Thanks. I know about condensation and there's no condensation. Just didn't understand how the humidity can be so high but no signs of humidity. I thought my thermometer was reading incorrectly or something.
  6. Based on my thermometer (room thermometer), the humidity is 70%. The thermometer is placed on the back inside wall between my front case fans and tower air cooler. The room I'm in doesn't feel humid. Is this damaging my computer?
  7. Here are my specs: AMD 5950X RTX 3090 PCI-E Gen 4 Western Digital NVME X570 Meg Ace Motherboard 64GB RAM OC'ed to 3800 MHz I didn't have this problem before, but certain programs like Playnite game launcher, Photoshop, AMD Ryzen Master causes my mouse to lag/skip. It's like the mouse is skipping frames or something. When I minimize the offending app, this problem immediately ceases. I can't for the life of me figure out the similarities of these specific programs to reproduce the problem. I first thought it's my GPU, but it games just fine, video edits like a champ, and run other 2D apps without a hitch. Any ideas?
  8. Hey! So I changed cases and now my PC doesn't work. It powers on and shuts off in under a second. There's a red light on the back of my power supply. Before I rip out the power supply to send it back, I want to know if there's anything else that can cause this? SPECS: MSI Meg Ace X570 Motherboard Corsair 1600 Watt AX1600i PSU NZXT Kraken X73 360mm AIO AMD 5950x EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 3090 64GB G.Skill G.Skill Trident Z RGB (two sticks) Samsung 960 PRO 1TB NVMe M.2 Internal SSD Sabrent Rocket 4.0 2TB Inland Performance Plus 2TB SSD 3D TLC NAND PCIe NVMe Gen 4 x 4 M.2 2280 I bought this case: Cooler Master MasterCase H500M RGB Tempered Glass eATX Mid-Tower Possible Errors During Build 1) The Inland PCIE 4.0 NVme is new. While installing, the M.2 screw just wouldn't act right. I had to unseat the SSD couple dozen times. 2) While screwing in a motherboard screw, I slipped and possibly hit the motherboard with my screwdriver. But there's no visible damage. 3) While trying to install the GPU, It wouldn't go all the way in. I kept taking it in and out pushing kinda hard. Then I realize the damn heatsink of the new SSD wasn't allowing it to go all the way down. I switched m.2 slots and GPU went in normal. I didn't hear any weird noises like I broke something. Previous to switching cases, my computer would crash all the way to a full reboot while playing Cyberpunk. And I think it happened once while playing Hitman 2. But other than that, it ran fine. My thermals were excellent. I also applied new thermal paste to the CPU. * When I press the power button, all the fans spin, GPU led come on, RAM LED and motherboard LED lights up, but then cuts off leaving me with one red light on the PSU. I have to flip the switch to power it up again. The power button on the motherboard is red (normal color) and when I push it, the same thing happens. There are no weird noises or smoke smell. I didn't try shorting the PSU to test it. Is there anything I possible could have screwed up while building? All the power cables are tight on both motherboard and PSU. I used the CPU power cable for the top connectors. Did I just get unlucky and my PSU died? Good thing Corsair offers 10 year warranty. Please help! Thank you!
  9. I see a difference when I have higher pump speeds. At 50%, Cinebench caused temp to reach 82c. 100% fan speed, the max was 74.5c.
  10. Goal is 4470MHz all cores 3950x. Was 4.4GHz all core for a long time and didn't crash under any benchmarks, games, or video editing. I want to know what degrades (kills) the CPU? Temperature, voltage, or heat? When I ran 4.4GHz all cores, my idle temp was 35c, 55 to 70c gaming, and 86c using Prime95 or Cinebench. If I can achieve the same results with the 4470MHz overclock, is my CPU safe? My motherboard is a X570 MSI Meg ACE and I have a 1600 watt power supply (Corsair AX1600i). I also have a EVGA FTW 3 Ultra RTX 3090 overclocked (temperatures never go past 70c while gaming). Thanks for your help!

  12. I looked at the specs of the card and its recommended to have 450 watt PSU. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-r9-270x.c2466 That can be the problem.
