  1. Hello guys, I've a question that unfortunately I cannot get an answer myself because I don't have any 3080 yet, they are out of stock everywhere as you might already know. Anyway I saw a video of someone taking their 3080 apart and the PCB has 2 ribbon cables and 1 connector attached to it, the 2 ribbon cables should be the 2 fans and the connector the LEDs on the NVIDIA logo, but I'm not sure if that's correct, but regardless for a project I'll work on soon I'll have to take the PCB and create a custom cooling system (sounds crazy but there's a valid reason! eheh). So my question is would the GPU work fine if none of the ribbon cables and the connector are actually connected (As long as the card is properly cooled obviously)? Or will throw a bunch of errors because needs that stuff connected to the PCB to actually function? Sorry for the weird question but if someone can answer it is definitely here! Thanks in advance.
