  1. It goes like this: I log on, cursor is kinda stuttery and so is scrolling start menu for example, then after a short while screen turns black for like one second and everything is smooth (I guess GPU adapter resets?). It's just that some settings in Windows, Nvidia panel, Afterburner etc. NEVER sticks, sound changes main source and 100% volume, and I think it affects performance in games etc. iGPU is disabled in BIOS, but sometimes it shows up in device manager, along with some sound devices, other times it doesn't. I suspect maybe it's chipset drivers and iGPU or PCIe being messed up. I don't know exactly when the issue started happening, I've just "accepted" it for the longest time. Motherboard is an Asus Prime Z390-A. Tried different GPUs, RAM, PSU and with completely fresh Windows 10 and 11 install etc, it still happens. Memory and hard drives don't have errors, nvme and ssd sits around 90% health. Turning on second monitor also makes main monitor turn black for a second, but nothing crashes. Also tried with just main monitor connected to no avail. No cables are connected to iGPU either. I'm on latest 2004 BIOS.
  2. This is with a fresh Windows 10 install, might be a combo of 20H2 and Nvidia issues, perhaps IGPU drivers as well. Lotsa problems from Microsoft and Nvidia lately. I'm using an RTX 3070.
  3. Have a link to the problem, which is easily produced by having cursor on WoW icon at taskbar (shows small real time video of game). http://streamable.com/iu5klu
  4. I did put it at the edge of the gpu, similar to the picture, but as its a Rog Strix triple fan, you guys might onto something about pressure changing the thermals. Either by lifting it and making it lose contact or somehow giving incorrect readings. Either way, it works fine and normal when it's resting at its "normal" sagging.
  5. So I tried fixing the gpu sag with some legos, made sure it didnt block any fans and they should be thin enough to not block much airflow. It went like 15c higher idle and Afterburner went crazy and put fan speed to 95% just being in character selection of WoW.
