  1. I tried before going into these forums so I'm guessing it won't do anything if I try it now so I'll leave the whole CMOS alone. Short story by the way this pc was given to my friend and he wanted to update his case the day after I did so it's double the stress with double the problems because we run the same specs (so same general problem) . I will never buy gigabyte motherboards again while I breathe. This is the most stressful time and a simple case transfer has got us both behind in schoolwork.
  2. What about CMOS? I heard that it could help but none of the videos really showed me a straight forward way of doing it. I don't see how taking a screwdriver and holding it on 2 pins would be the way to reset a mobo completely. I did it and nothing works at all.
  3. Yeah man idk. I turned it on and booted into bios to make sure it worked, logged in and even surfed the web for a few minutes before i removed anything. I was very careful but the same thing happened but just a tad bit different. I will take your advice and try to fix the problem but I've already been going at it for 4 hours straight. If there is anything else that you can think of please reply back and I will try it. It just blows my mind how it happened twice like I hit a magic fail switch or something..
  4. this pc build was perfectly fine until I decided to get a new case. I have two PC's and they both have the same specs and had the same problem while changing out cases. but this one happened a little differently. I can't fix it this time because it didn't mess up the same way as the other one did. This is a ryzen 3 3200g stock to answer your question.
  5. I have a gigabyte b450 mobo and i can’t get it to post. It turns on by itself out of the case then turns back off. If i remove the 8-pin connector on the mobo and flip the psu switch, it turns on and does absolutely nothing. The psu seems fine and all fans are spinning. I cannot spot the problem. Is the mobo dead?
