  1. Could be worse, could be ASUS. Either way. Have yet to have a issue with dBrand myself. For my wife or myself.
  2. I will have to look when I get home. I forget exactly where it is. I think it's in apps and settings. Let's you force when to use dedicated graphics or onboard.
  3. Could go into windows power settings and put it on high performance when playing and put It back down to Eco or Balanced when done. Wouldnt hurt to set Nvidia GPU to the default used graphics processor in windows settings for the application too. Sounds like the PC is power throttling the CPU. Or for some reason not using the power available to it. Really shouldn't have any issue with Minecraft. Especially with your view distance this low. A drivers wipe and reinstall could iron it out too. Just DDU and reinstall if the other methods don't work. Drivers can do some screwy things.
  4. For thermal paste I also recommend KPX. Love it. Great contact each time.
  5. Interesting depending on mobo 2600X and 3080TI should allow ReBAR.
  6. What kind of Error does it give. Or is it just throwing you to desktop.
  7. Try using BoostLock for the GPU, update mobo bios, or turn enabled 5G encoding and resizable bar on in bios. See if that helps. Could be RAM related maybe since we rolled out the SSD or at least does not directly point to it anymore.
  8. How about DDU? Drivers can get finicky If you install version ontop of version even using "Perform Clean Install" option. It definitely sounds kid of driver related. Your GPU wouldt happen to be a EVGA card would it?
  9. Also, depending on the Samsung SSD it is. A firmware update may be needed. Some SSDs had bad firmware versions that were degrading the hardware saying it had bad sectors when it was just reporting wrong Edit: it was the 980 Pro, 990, and 970.
  10. Have you done a scan for the health of your SSD? Sounds like it could be anything like a bad SSD sector that windows or the drivers are on. Or just generally a bad driver. Have you done the DisayDriverInstaller Utility and fresh driver install yet? Also try reinstalling latest DirectX or .NetFramework versions.
  11. If you don't have any overclocks to save just pull the BIOS battery out while the PC is unplugged and press the power button to get the power drained. Sometimes it will help and will retrain everything and work as it should. If that does not work. Resit your CPU and repaste it. Making sure there is not a ton of pressure but too enough pressure on the cooler. Typicallt till you need force for the screws to move if it requires screws. The AMD Latch coolers are pretty consistent so don't need to worry about those as long as it's latched properly. It could of somehow wiggled loose. I've seen weird stuff like that happen. If you manage to get into windows after that make sure it I'd stable and possibly update the BIOS while you're ahead. Wouldn't want anything to happen while it was updating. So make sure it's stable first. Also try the 1 RAM stick method if none of this works.
  12. Use a HDMI cable and a Monitor to start the PC with. Once it posts and you have windows at the desktop. Plug the main monitor you want to have DisplayPort with while the HDMI monitor is plugged. Use DDU and reinstall drivers. I had this issue with even my RTX3090TI. It has somthing to do with displayport... the monitor i used was a ASUS Swift PG329Q. It seemed to have fixed It after first successful boot with HDMI/DisplayPort configuration. No idea why it did this. Went from a 2080 to a 3090TI when this happened. So wasn't just AMD. Weird quirk with DisplayPort I guess? HDMI has always worked. Could also be the cables. I had gone through many with the same results though. Even after buying a 30$ DisplayPort 1.4a cable when apparently this monitor is only 1.2.... But this worked for me. What OS are you on? I was on Windows11.
  13. Since 850 or 750 PSUs in Gold are fairly cheap I'd just upgrade depending on how old your original one is. Since GPUs are getting more and more power hungry it may save you a upgrade later. If you can wait though I would. A 500W is fine. Not optimal but fine depending on rating.
  14. Like any Chinese seller selling to anywhere but China. Take everything with a grain of salt. You can get very lucky or extremely scammed. Nothing against the Chinese people. China businessed on the other hand... it seems to be what happens... just like what Wish does. I would probably use EBay for stuff like that so you have somthing to fall back on with protections. AliExpress seems the less shady of them though. Alibaba about the same.
  15. Definitely depends on how close to the TV you are. If you are a good bit away 1440p or 1080 should be fine if you want the extra frames. I would do DLSS or FSR if the game you play supports it aswell. Just play between the few options where fidelity and framerate is balanced enough for ya.
